Brilliant!
Every song on this album is great and if you're an Aya Kamiki fan i doubt this album will dissapoint you. My favourite track is Mou kaeranai, it's a bit slower than her usual stuff but a nice emotional song, but don't worry it's only about four songs on the album that are at a slower pace, the rest have a fast catchy beat and Aya's strong vocals go perfect with them. Wasn't so keen on the string version of A constellation, much prefer the original but it was nice to hear a different version. Overall i would recommend this album.

disaappointing
disaappointing
kamiki aya does have an outstanding voice. it does stand out among j-pop singers (though the sweet voiced horie yui is still my favorite). i love her occasional high note that is common among japanese singers (i really do). but her voice isn't enough to save this cd. the cd starts off great. the first four songs have pretty much it all: great voice, energetic background vocals, radio/ear friendly tempo. the fourth song took poetic license with not one, but two rolling stone intro's and ended with another variant on some 'stone's lyrics, and it worked. but from the fifth song on, things started to go down hill. with hard to hear guitar licks, to standard studio music (not the musicians, the music), to britney/mtv type songs to five boring slow songs to close the cd, this project wasted the great pop voice of kamiki aya. the uptempo songs are great, but when aya-san slows things down, she (or the producer) rely on the same basic string/orchestra as any other ballad. tokyo jihen needs a new vocalist, maybe aya-san and her great voice should look for employment with that band. aya-san, tell them i sent you.

This album is a masterpiece. there's nothing more to say than that. The music is beautiful, Aya's beautiful, and the lyrics are truly wonderful. Thank God for Aya Kamiki. Japan was getting too shallow so I'm glad she showed up. There's a reason why she's a success...buy this and see why. I promise, you won't regret it. From her strong and powerful vocals to the deep heart-touching emotion, this album is unbeatable by all other Japanese albums being released right now.
