For those who bought this DVD (First press still available) will notice very beautiful twin tray! This DVD art and tray will surely impress you at first look. 1st disc shows concert at Tokyo Dome with tons of fans and again L'arc en Ciel's great performance. 2nd disc has alot (really alot of interviews). Also footages from both Korea and China. You can listen HYDE speaking in Korean!!! Really, this DVD will not disappoint you. So grab this First Press while you can! |

The ASIALIVE set is the most beautiful among all the Laruku DVDs released till date. Colorful cover and disc designs make this a feast for the eyes. The twin-tray was slightly irritating though, as you have to remove the top disc first to get to the bottom one. The only highlight of Disc 1 was P'UNK~EN~CIEL's entrance in mini-cars. There were two Tokyo Dome lives but just about an hour of live footage on Disc 1. I was left wanting so much more, especially after reading fan reports of the concerts. The documentary footage in Disc 2 comes from the TV Asahi Special so nothing new there. I was extremely disappointed that none of the 8 tracks on Disc 2 were complete clips. Each averaged only about a minute plus. Highlights include the Korean MCs and the members' introduction during Link. In all, ASIALVE 2005 fails to deliver a killer punch and it could have been so much better. But if you are a fan, you should get this anyway! ^^) |
