March 5, 2009 Great History DramaJumong is a great Korean history drama. I like it a lot.
The story was grand. The images and BGM were excellent. The production team put all 81 episodes together were amazing.
The only thing I hate was the subtitles; characters’ names got changed and country names got changed. I have to rely on my limited Korean to understand it.

The leading actors (Song S H and Kwon SW) are all good looking, but I could not relate to the whole story. It is boring.
Too many 4-letter words and I don’t think it is necessary.
This is an old fashion gangster movie, noting new about it.

Although I’m not a Catholic, I connected with those two leading actors (Jo Hyun Jae and Soo Ae) from the beginning to the end. I think this drama is not about religion; rather it is about human affection.
The images are beautiful and the background music added the depth to the emotion.
This is the first time Jo Hyun Jae (tender 23-year old) took a leading role. My comment to his performance is one word “Brilliant.”
All supporting actors performed wonderfully. Thanks for the production team.
I enjoyed this drama very much.

July 23, 2006 Hugely Entertaining-Almost LovI was immersed in a fresh spring breeze the entire show time. Ji-hwan (Kwon Sang Woo) and Dal-rae (Kim Ha Neul) are brilliant actors. They delivered the storylines smoothly and naturally. There were many scenes that Ji-hwan's hair got wet. Interestingly, the wet hair gave Ji-hwan a clean, innocent, and lovable image.
Kwon Sang Woo's running, jumping, and racing scenes were beautifully performed. All supporting actors and background music were great.
It is the pure hearts of Ji-hwan and Dal-rae make my heartaches. I watched three times and each time I got a warm and loving feelings from this movie.
