great visuals, bad vocals Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This concert has wonderful stage effects, props, good setlist, and amazing outfit changes...but I've watched almost all of Ayu's concerts and her voice has grown ALOT since this time. In this concert, she shreiks alot and can barely hit any of the high notes. Also, she struggled on lower notes too. =/ ??? I also wonder if she was in pain or just showing emotion most the time...but it looked like straining more than anything...she seemed so uncomfortable! x_x

This is important for all true Ayu fans to have though! That's why I got it. ^_^-V Just try to get passed the rough vocals so you can see the true beauty in this show. There is so many sweet, memorable moments...Ayu showed that she is soooo special, even then. I also loved to see that she has NEVER changed - only her musical and singing style has slightly. Personality though, she never changed - not even a bit!!

From watching so many Ayu concerts, This is easily the best!!! seriously!!! yes it may not have the best vocals or stage presence that the mature Ayu have right now. But this 2000 classic Ayu concert is the young Ayu we have always loved and that's what makes her what she is today. Watching this concert gives me the chills! It's emotional at some parts and very fun to watch at another...Ayu put a lot of effort to make this a good one! I love how her voice sounds. i find this to be the BEST high pitch Ayu voiced that Ayu once had Though her voice now has become some what very mature and deep..it is good to reminisce about the olden days when Ayu just shot to fame.

Apart from that, the stage is WOW! beautiful stage set-up! And the editing is beautifully done..so that the viewers doesn't have to wait too long and the costumes is just too CUTE! great visuals! everything is perfect!!! This is the classic collection of any Ayu fan should get! And if you are new to Ayu this maybe something you want to get to know Ayu. It's a great way to introduce Ayu. Anyway, don't forget to buy Vol.2 too!

Truth be told, Ayu did not sing good live back in 2000. Her voice has gotten heaps better now, but in this concert...it's vocally a mess. She could barely reach any of the notes and when she did, it came out as screeches. I love Ayumi, but even I will admit this is a terrible first impression of her. However, like myself, diehard fans will order this anyway. This does show off her cuteness and sweet, heart touching personality though so I still love it no matter what because I'm so baist. lol. But truth be told, it's not good singing. The visual effects are stunning though. I still recommend all fans buy it, just don't expect Ayumi's usual stunning vocals.
