After Jolin Tsai, Jet Li, Chang Hsiao-Yen, and Brigitte Lin, Taiwan singer-songwriter Kenji Wu is the latest celebrity appointed by Buddhist organization Dharma Drum Mountain to be the ambassador for the "Six Ethics of the Mind" campaign. The public interest campaign aims to unite people by promoting six kinds of moral values in relation to living, family, workplace, school, ethnic groups, and the natural environment. In line with these values, Kenji has written a song called "Pull the Hearts Closer" for the cause, and he also directed himself in the music video.

　　法鼓山提倡心六倫運動最主要的目的有二：「提昇人的品質，建設人間淨土」。我們希望藉由這六種範疇的倫理，來幫助台灣社會與人心能夠淨化、平安、快樂、健康。古時儒家所講的五倫，是指君臣、父子、夫婦、兄弟、朋友，在現代社會中的人際關係，五倫的涵蓋面已經不夠，法鼓山有感於此近年來開始推動「六倫」運動，「六倫」分為”職場倫理”、”生活倫理”、”校園倫理”、”族群倫理”、”家庭倫理”及”自然倫理”等六倫，我們每一個人在這六倫中，扮演不只一重而是多元的角色，不論我們扮演什麼角色，我們都應該要有尊重關心他人，服務奉獻的觀念，如果人人都能如此，相信世界會更加的美好。
