The Hottest Looking & Quite Talented Chicks
The Hottest Looking & Quite Talented Chicks
| Okay, it may sound a bit too outrageous for me to use the word - "hot", and may also sound vulgar, especially for the word in Cantonese (which is "sok"). Yes, that's the first thing that captured my eyes... their beauty, sexiness and modern dress sense. They "seduced" me into buying their album in the first place. Sometimes, as the saying goes (please pardon me for being crude), sex sells. I bought the album at Sun Fung Stationery (used be called Windfair Stationery, now closed down and moved a few shops south, down Sussex Street, and most probably under new management). I was pretty surprised by their above average singing vocals. I love their type of pop songs. Hip, very fresh and "young", infectious and fun! The last track was a bit of a "downer", for they lost it (off key) in a few key notes in the song. Otherwise, a noteworthy effort by these five lovely singing mainland Chinese girls. I hope to see more of their works in the near future. May God bless these girls. Ciao! |
