huge & impressive concert but does anyone knows how to see the secret bonus hidden behind the door on the dvd? there's a code and it's seems impossible for me... thanks |

Shiina Ringo Unplugged?
| After Utada Hikaru did her MTV Unplugged Concert, I wondered when Shiina Ringo would do hers. This DVD is about as close as we are going to get to Shiina Ringo Unplugged. All the her backing music was performed by a string ensemble accompanied by a piano and a drum set. In the tradition of Kabuki Theater, the show starts off in the audience, migrates to the stage and big screen with Shiina herself appearing in a fantastic gold dress and feather boa. Forgive my next comment, but Shiina Ringo does that dress JUSTICE! The music was arranged for the string ensemble and was blue-sed up a little. She proceeds from song to song with ease, switching from French to Japanese to English. The final acid Violin solo was interesting to listen to as Shiina Ringo left the stage and the big screen showed her egress from the building. For those who, like me, love the inventiveness of Shiina Ringo, this DVD is a must buy. |
