Love takes time Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
"Bakery Amour" starring Michele Reis Lee (Lok To), Francis Ng (Uncle Seven, don't know why it says Uncle Jet, but direct Chinese translation - it is Seventh Uncle, therefore I will say Uncle Seven), and William So (Uncle Seven's nephew).

This is a romantic comedy about losing and finding love. Uncle Seven is an aspiring detective who moves in with his nephew to a new apartment. Lok To is Uncle Seven's nephew's long time pen pal, who had introduced him to move into her building. When Uncle Seven unpacks and cleans up his room, he finds 99 letters in a tin box inside the closet. All the stamps are ripped off and the letters are unopened. The letters are from France, sent to Lok To, from a guy named Ka Lam. Uncle Seven opens all the letters and reads them. He then devises a plan to reunite Lok To and Ka Lam. His first step is to open a bakery shop that sells bread and hires Lok To to help bake bread. But little does Uncle Seven knows, Ka Lam already has a girlfriend whom he met in France.

The bakery shop becomes popular and Lok To even appears in magazines. One day, Ka Lam comes back to Hong Kong and sees the article in a magazine. He goes to the bakery shop to look for Lok To. Uncle Seven's plan is going very well, but all of a sudden he does not feel good. This is when he discovers that he has feelings for Lok To.

Francis Ng's performance is amazing. I like the fact that he is playing a romantic lead. This role is very different from his usual whacky and craze characters. He plays Uncle Seven with a very sweet and caring innocence. Very clean cut and straightforward. I also liked Michele Reis Lee's character Lok To, she is the nice girl-next-door, whom if someone hurts her feelings, would feel really bad. William So as Uncle Seven's nephew has some very funny scenes and funny dialogue with Francis Ng (Uncle Seven).

This movie was released in theaters for public viewing on Valentine's Day. For sure, it is a great romantic comedy movie for Valentine's Day and any day of the year. Excellent movie with excellent actors.

a nice surprise Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This movie starts off really well, with a lot of funny scenes b/t William So and Francis Ng. Michele Lee's acting was lacking to be honest, but Ng pretty much covered up for her with his great take on his role in the movie. Like the other review said, the movie begins to get slow after the boyfriend steps in...Really, really slow (fast-foward slow). The ending is horrifically cute. I didn't expect a movie b/t Ng, So, and Lee to be this well done.

Bakery Amour Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
I honestly think this is quite a boring movie, it's quite slow. The acting is fine.but it's just the whole story. Romantic......if you want to call it that way

So so...... Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
I thought this movie would be very romantic and showing different delicious cakes, breads and sweets, but no it was a disappointment. The story is very slow. Ng Chan Yue´s acting skill couldn´t save it and Michelle has never been a good actress.

Great Movie Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is a great movie. Michelle Lee is very pretty and both her and Francis Ng do a great job. The movie is, at times, a little predictable; however, it's still very entertaining.

Francis Ng & Michelle Lee Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I love Francis Ng and Michelle Lee, they are so sweet and cute in this movie. I know that the title sounds a little funny, but this is a romantic movie. Fans should give it a try.

Typical Love Story Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
It's an okay movie. In my opinion, just another typical love story movie. The first half of the movie was good, but the second half was really kinda boring.

it's a great movie, it tells us what we need to know about love, sometimes we missed the true love but only care about the facial appearance, but you'll find out everything in this movie.
