Bangkok Haunted DVD Region 3

From one of the creators of The Eye comes Bangkok Haunted, a triptych of atmospheric horror tales from directors Oxide Pang and Pisut Praesangeam. In "The Legend of the Drum", a young woman receives a strange drum as a gift, only to discover that it's haunted. The spirit of a girl named Paga resides within the drum, and the tale of her demise is an unnerving one. In "Black Magic Woman", a desperate, bar-hopping woman despairs at her inability to attract good-looking guys. She resorts to a mysterious "love potion", which seems to work, but carries dark consequences, and even darker origins. Finally, Oxide Pang directs "Revenge", the stylish story of a police detective investigating the suicide of a beautiful woman. But things are not what they seem, and the twists and turns experienced by the detective prove intriguing and haunting. Like the other standout films of the Asian horror boom, Bangkok Haunted uses spare pacing and atmospheric art direction to weave involving horror stories filled with fate, fear, and surprise.
