The best Malice Mizer album!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I tend to listen to a lot of this genre...Classical, gothic, and the works. However, I've never purchased an album as beautifully composed as Bara no Seidou.
All of the tracks are gorgeous, combining harpsicords and organs with electric guitar and bass, as well as strings and some synth. Klaha's strong and operatic voice adds to the feel of an eerie, yet lovely gothic atmosphere that will ring in your head for a long time.
The movie, Bara no Konrei, is also very beautiful visually, but what stood out the most in that movie was the music by far, which was basically the reason why I bought it.

In short: If you don't already have this, BUY IT. You definitely won't regret it, as this is visual-kei at its finest.

Great for Newer Malice Mizer Fans Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
By far one of the greatest CD's Malice Mizer has created. Very distinct darker sounds as compared to thier earlier works. Track #5 is so moving and powerful, melodic and awe-inspiring. Klaha having replaced Gackt does not disappoint, his voice is rich and very operatic with melancholy undertones. I highly recommend this album for new Malice Mizer fans as it is more "Goth Rock" per say as opposed to Mervilles or Voyage Sans Retour. A must have for Malice Mizer fans both old and new, I got into Malice Mizer becuase of thier earlier work, but this is a progression of thier continuing melodic works. ^__^

Musical Masterpiece Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I am a fan of all styles of music from all over the world, and this has to be one of my all time favorite CDs. I got Bara no Seidou along with Merveilles, and I must say that overall, I prefer Bara no Seidou. You need to get this cd, drop everything you are doing, stick on some head phones and ly down and watch yourself get sucked into this masterpiece...then listen to it again. The thing I like about this disc is that it is not as much 10 seperate songs as it is one beautiful piece with 10 movements. Each song is definitely different than the last but the CD flows so well because of similar tempo and elements such as the harpsicord and driving percussion you'll find throughout. Klaha fits the music well with his opera-like voice and there are female singers throughout the CD as well. Great pictures of the band and of Gothic Cathedrals can be found in the book-like package. A must own.
