An unconventional comedy Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
A young man, who desperately seeks a professorial job, ponders going to extreme lengths to eliminate the barking dogs that disturb him. His very pregnant wife, who belittles him for not having a job, buys exactly the kind of dog that drives him crazy.

The ghoulish janitor of the building in which they reside likes to cook up servings of dog stew in the basement of the building. A mentally disturbed man, who hides out in the basement, prowls the building for food.

A young woman who is bored with her low-level job with the local government helps a girl put up notices about her lost dog, then witnesses another dog being killed. Her chubby friend, equally bored with her job in a toy shop, wants to go for a walk in the woods.

Out of this peculiar mish-mash of characters, the makers of "Barking Dogs Never Bite" concoct a very original and very dark comedy. "Barking Dogs" is not "laugh-out-loud" funny and takes some unnecessary detours along the way, but it will keep you wondering what will happen next. I recommend this film to anyone who appreciates unconventional movies. You won't see anything else quite like it!

Barking Dogs Never Bite Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Barking Dogs Never Bite is great little dark comedy.

The two main performances are great -
Lee Sung-jae is a great actor with a good range of abilities and he's no different in this film.
Boa Du Na makes her acting debut here and she delivers a top performance and is always interesting & joyful to watch.
The humour may be a little too dark for some, but those who appreciate films which pull no punches will lap it up.
Highly Recommended

Not that funny Customer Review Rated Bad 3 - 3 out of 10
This movie had the potential to be really funny but I was disappointed. The plot moves slowly and the protagonist seems like she is in a daze for the entire movie. There is an interesting social statement made at the very end of the movie contrasting the two main actors but it isn't worth watching the whole movie to get it. It would have been better to market this movie as a drama with a little bit of humor in it.

A Good Bite Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This movie is so funny. It is one of the most ironic movies that you will see. It combines comedy with seriousness with a few tears in the end. You can't go wrong. Uhhhm. Just make sure that your dog isn't with you when you watch this movie. Enjoy!!!
