Remember that Alan Tam is not a mandarin-educated person. He started out singing English songs then followed by Canto-pop. BUT after listening to this mandarin album which blowing the "China-wind" . I personally found that he has improved a lot this time, not just on the pitch (He still carries a bit...a little bit of honggie slang in his vocal) har... this could be his own "mandarin songs style" ...I think this is how he may turn his weakness link into his own strength "style" - smart strategy right? Overall, on the instance feelings, I can picture out every scene for every song in this album and understand what he is singing without looking at the lyris this time...har har this time...90% is true ok. Not to mention I have also not forget to repeat the track over and over again at least 8 times (For those new singers' songs ...I only repeat listening to them the most 2-3 times then I already felt "boring"). I guess this is the power of his experience....yeahoo! OK... "Be a Joyous Man" is cheerful..ambitious! "Love Is The Only Demand" is very sincere. "Evening Rainbow" is super-romantic. "Heartache" signifies man's hidden feeling when facing love hurt - is painful. Literally, this album could be another "China's Wind Power!" - don't worry ..this is the harmless one. His humble to keep on learning and his forever 25 living siprit has deeply rooted in my belief. THE FUTURE BELONGS TO HUMBLE AND CHEERFUL LEADERS! ALAN TAM IS ONE OF THEM...YEAHOO!
