Chan was once a senior government official and a famous radio program host. After joining TVB where he is now General Manager, he seldom appears in TV shows except to officiate ceremonies. But in 2006 when TVB launched its Pay TV channels, Chan himself created the Be My Guest series. In every episode he conducts an in-depth interview with one famous star who reveals his or her secrets.
