I haven't really listened to their earlier albums, but this one is GREAT! Beat Space Nine is a really awesome album! My favorites are...

This album is disappointing in the sense that Taku is moving away from the tried and true formula of: strong melodic (catchy) undertone to support quirky sound effects and rapping that doesn't always fit to the rhythm of the song. Instead he seems to be using quirky sound effects to support non-catchy and therefore not strong melodies. Many of the songs are rhapsodies, meaning that they either diverge from the paramters of the chorus or become new songs all together. Which is fine, if you want non-addictive and non-catchy music. But if you're like me, you like m-flo to be experimental, but still POP. Most of the guest vocalists do not shine, save for LISA of course. Yoshika's voice is way over-rated and yet they still used her for 2 songs.

M-flo wants to be taken seriously as artists and so they've created an album that isn't as radio-friendly as "Astromantic" or "Expo Expo." Much of the music can be categorized as typical dark, musky, bass-heavy, crowded club music. Melodies are lost w/in a sea of futuristic sound fx. Oh well. They almost got it right on "Hey!" But they should've added more rapping. It feels like Verbal finishes after 4 sentences. The song LISA's on (#16) isn't particularly gr8 musically, but she manages to rescue it.

Taku & Verbal: Raise her cut from all the millions you make, bend slightly to her pop sensibilites, let her make a solo album now and then, and then do whatever it takes to bring her back. It's clear that all the other posers you had substituting for her can't come close to her talent. Plus, she just fits in with you. So beg her to come back.

All in all a good album, just not as memorable as they're others.

... with that, I mean that m-flo's new album is fantastic and a melody to the ears. The album has a nice variety of songs that will have you going through the day and/or booming in your car. Definately another great follow-up from their previous album, Astromantic, BEAT SPACE NINE will definately keep you smiling through the day. A great CD for new and old lovers of m-flo, you know wat i'm sayin'?

m-flo does it again. everything they put out is groundbreaking and raises the bar on production. Genuis. every needs to buy this album as soon as possible. what's up with the last track why are they coming back to earth.... what does this mean??? I hope not what i'm thinking.

this album is GREAT!!! its better than all the others cause it has more songs that i like :] as usual m-flo are trying out with various style of music and instrument, very funky, and some very nice. i recommand track 2,3,5,6,8,10,11,12,15 & 16. worth buying, aspecially when there's a A LOT cheapter korean version!!

Dam...the best album of m-fo Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I got to say that this is truly a masterpiece to the heart. I'm a huge fan of M-flo due to their talented beat, rythem, and the flow. Not only that, Yoshika is great, so is Emyli, and others who help make M-flo tracks come alive. (every track is great!!!) This album is a MUST BUY MUST OWN TITLE! Plus if your a Korean like me, You will defitnitly enjoy this album because track 5 is sung by Wheesung, who is also great. 5 Stars all the way!!!

 M-Flo Still Great Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I had to listen to this one a few times to get used to it. But that's mostly because I was expecting another Astromantic, in terms of style and level of excitement. As far as quality, this album is just as good as Astromantic. If you like R&B, rap, soul, and/or jazz, you will love this album, just as you would any other M-Flo album. Again, a lot of the tracks on this one are very, very original, they're just slightly more on the soul and jazz side than Astromantic was. Plus, Yoshika and Emlyi are featured in a lot of the songs on this album, so there's a little less variety than before. However, the last song on the album features Lisa, signifying a possible reuniting of the original M-Flo. Very exciting. This album really is a great album for some truly heartfelt moments as well as if you just want to lsoe yourself in some smooth melodies. Plus, the occasional splash of 80's influence makes it just a little more special to me. Favorites were Taste Your Stuff, A.D.D.P., Float 'N Flow, Hey!, and Tripod Baby.

I am SO psyched about m-flo's 4th album! All of the singles released prior to this album were excellent. m-flo loves Yoshika - "Let Go" was a refreshing ballad reminescent of "Yours Only" from their Expo Expo album. m-flo loves Emyli & Diggy-MO' - "Dopamine" is a REALLY fun song that can put you into an energizing mood. m-flo loves Monday Michiru - "A.D.D.P." has the sound of a classic dance club hit. m-flo loves Yoshika & Emyli/Akiko Wada - "Loop In My Heart"/"HEY!" is another pair of fun pop songs that can surely be played on repeat several times. Just like the Astromantic album, all the songs are m-flo loves ___. Even more artists will be featured on this album including Bennie K, Rie fu, Sowelu, Wheesung, and most of all...Lisa! It looks like trio will finally reunite for this album, which is one of the songs I'm most excited about hearing. I have really high expectations for Beat Space Nine, and I know Verbal and Taku will deliver yet another "astrosexy" album. :D
