Modding and yes, this controller owns you
| well well well, you heard the great reviews about this eh? i am going to make it better. If you guys think the official metal Beatmania iidx controller was ultra cool, well you can mod your controoler(The controller yesasia is selling) and make it as accurate and sensitive as the konami one. All you have to do is open the controller up, rip out the rubber from the buttons, clean the buttons so they don't get sticky, and out it back together. Modding these controllers is easy. And the price is prolly the best anyones has seen. Yesasia has the best prices for asian products. They practically gaurantee the best price from other retailers and online stores. My pick would definitely be this controller. You just can't beat the demand on these baby's |

Awesome controller! Lucky if you got it before it
| Wow .. I bought this bad boy two days before it went "temporarily out of stock." The controller itself is massive. Wider than the PS2 itself. The buttons can be switched 180 degrees for left or right handed players by pushing the "eject" button on the bottom. This turntable beats the living hell out of my ASCII controller that had noisy keys and had a plastic disc for a turntable. This controller is like all normal controllers in that it is plugged in via the controller port and not the USB hub (like Para Para Paradise or Drum Mania). Thus, this controller is playable with all of the Beatmania series that was ever released for the Playstation 1 & 2. The only rant I have is that the keys don't light up like the arcade but then again that's more money. If this item ever goes back on stock, don't hesitate to buy it because you may never see this item for sale for a very long time! |

Good controller, but has flaws
| This controller is great for those wanting to play IIDX the "real" way. It comes highly recommended. It has a couple of flaws, though. The spacing between the turntable and the keys is different from the arcade, and also the keys aren't as responsive as the arcades and don't click. After using the controller for a while (usually a couple months), the keys will start to stick and you have to take it apart and clean everything out. Don't let that stop you from buying the controller though. It's definately an awesome buy, just some people don't tend to actually review products when they write a pseudo-review. |

| If u are a Beatmania IIDX freak or u are willing to be one you need this, its absolutely amazing!! It works with a pal PS2 too and isnt exactly like the arcade but its great! Get it! Buy it! You need it! ;) |

The ONLY way to IIDX

I've played BM since it's inception so long ago. The DJ Man controller was, lacking. However IIDX is a different story. The controller is arcade perfect [short of the much lamented sticky buttons], the removable button set, the True key setup, and overall reliablility make the official IIDX DJ Station is simply hands down SUPERIOR to any 3rd party. Yes 3rd party units are good for getting your feet wet in the world of Beatmania but if you want the True arcade experience, a LOT is to be said for this station. The 5-key compatibilty and the improved turntable make this the ideal station for a player of any level on any BM game. Hands down, a MUST for any IIDXaholic. |
