GLAY's 3rd Album
| This is such an amazingly great album. It starts out with the highly catchy song, "Groovy Tour", setting a very high standard and making quite a promise which the rest of the album lives up to in every way possible. "Lovers change fighters, cool" is one of my favorites because of the great use of back-up singing. Their voices blend smoothly, giving to the song an awesome effect. Teru's talent and beauty really shine in this song. "Beloved", the title song, is very pretty, relying on the acoustic guitar for it's unique sound which makes it really stand out. In "Shutter Speeds no teema", Jiro went beyond his normal role of bassist, assisting Teru with the vocals and Takuro in the writing of the song. "Kanariya" was also co-written by Jiro but takes on a very different sound compared to "Shutter Speeds". "HIT THE WORLD CHART!" is one those songs that you go around singing all day because it's just so catchy! The piano in "Kaatenkouru" is great and accompanies Teru's voice incredibly while also proving GLAY is capable of and competent in many different styles. All in all, this album is a must have for any fan of J-rock or even J-pop. With Teru's smooth, highly impressive vocals, Hisashi and Takuro's excellent guitar work and Jiro's heavy bass, they are a band with an unbeatable and unparalleled sound. |

Not the best Glay CD but great!

Every Glay fan should have this CD! It's not my most fav. CD of Glay but I love it! Track 2 and 6 till 11 are my fav. but every song is great! It's worth to buy! By the way I'm new here and from Germany :) |
