Great girl power movie!!!

I first watched the film at this year's 2003 SF Asian Film Festival in Japantown. The sold out audience laughed at everything and cheered on the characters as they beat the odds. I won't spoil the film by telling you what it's about, all I will say it's not just a girl power flick about girls wanting to play soccer, it is so much more to it; it's a coming of age story, about finding yourself, and about family, which Asian and NonAsian alike will enjoy. |
