this is a collection of her 12 singles project so in a way i see it as more of an album (sonce all the songs where singles) but like all of kumis other works its a great buy with adictive tracks (you, ddd, and candy)

Bought this only for the great PVs, and also for the new songs on this album. I already had the 12 singles, but I loved them so much I had to buy this =P
I was so angry when this release was announced because I already had 12 of the songs, but the new songs were worth it. The concert was nice too. The packaging is lovely.
In conclusion I do not regret buying this.

i love kuu's 12 singles complication album its a great way to learn what kuu is all about more then just one theme of song this is a must buy for any new comers or hard core kuu fans!! kumi does not disapoint this edition also comes with super cute postcards and a photobook >__< kuu's stand out tracks on this album are most of them so ill single out the ones that dont get my attention feel and ima sugu ni -___- hehe

Before I begin, MattKK, it should play the entire concert. My copy does and so does my friend's.

As for the album itself, it's gorgeous except for that bonus track of A Whole New World which I'm not impressed with and the video for Kamen is a little strange. Honestly though, it's worth the money.

Before I start, MattK.K, it's not supposed to cut off half way through. My copy doesnt and neither does my friend's. You got a faulty disk and might wanna contact them about getting a replacement.

Now as for this album, it's truly the BEST of the 2 BEST albums. It contains alot of great songs including all of the 12 singles except for BoysLoveGirls... and one other i think. Kumi really shines on this album and I encourage everyone whether devoted fan or new to Kuu-chan to get this album. Totally worth every penny

I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this album. It was the first koda kumi album I ever purchased. All of the songs all have their on flare about them from the rock mixed with hip-hop inspired D.D.D. to the soothing R&B hit feel. There's just one problem I had with it. After I had listened to the cd and watched videos I decided to watch the concert. Well, after the rain performance( halfway through the dvd) the thing cuts off so I can't watch the rest of the tour. I don't know if it was the version I bought or if I had to buy the actual tour but that was the only thing that made me regret buying it just a little.

Koda Kumi's success lies mainly in her sheer audacity. The girl seems to have no fear (and little shame). And, increasingly, she is learning what works for her and what doesn't work ... and sticking with the stuff that works.

"BEST-second session" is a huge advance in artistry over her first "best of" collection. Moreover, this particular edition, coming with both a concert DVD and a music video DVD, certainly is a very generous package.

Koda Kumi's music is a stew of J-Pop and American urban styles, usually dressed up with all the latest studio gimmickry and a whomping backbeat. She may not get points for originality, but she lives on the cutting edge of musical trends. Her voice has a pleasingly rich lower register that turns nasally in the upper ranges, a combination that works quite effectively for a J-Pop singer.

Koda Kumi clearly drinks deeply from the wells of the latest American hip hop and urban recordings. This album is laced with those influences, but balanced nicely by the occasional very listenable J-Pop ballad.

While the piledriving beats on this album can become a bit too much after a while, "BEST-second session" is a state of the art, very entertaining overview of both Koda Kumi's recent career and the current state of Japanese pop music. Very highly recommended.

i was so jealouse when i could not get the limited singels she released as a project but i was so happy ti know she released this Album!! all of them are in it + the videos!!

Every song has a story and a meaning, again Kumi writes some of the songs which makes you appreciate her talent more then just a singer but as a writer as well, the lyrics are beautiful.

I loved the styles, all of them are different and unique, just a great collection of Kumi's songs you have to add!

If you are a Koda Kumi fan, you must buy this album, the 12 singles are all excellent, with R&B songs, romantic ballads, cute songs, dance songs and the new ''Love goes like...'' is one of the best track ! A must have album !
