May 4, 2007 Convenient Enough
If you're in search of good cpop music in genres of mellow rock, punk, or just good old music, Let Convenience Store's 'TV Monkey' cater to that music crave of yours.
The album's first track is awesome and you'll be sure glued to this album right after you hear it. TV Monkey is completely different from all the other album releases I've been hearing lately. This album coul make it into my top 10 favorite albums of 2007. Definitely an album worth checking out.

October 3, 2006 Getting Better~
Vivian shows us that she can keep up with the demands of her fans, Ever heard about Vivan Hsu's "Love Unreservedly" album? If you haven't you better check that out too if your up for this album.
What's great about this album is that Vivian Hsu's R&B music is getting better, you can say so when you hear her song "So So". Not only is she doing great with R&B but also with her slower love songs, (track 2) "Mermaid" is truly amazing! She wrote the song herself and it's good, another good reason to get this album.
(Track 4) Nu Ren Tian Shi or in English "Woman Plans" has that same R&B style like in her Love Unreservedly album, a slow-ish R&B track that you'd definitely want to check out.
Other than improvements on her music, her collaborations played it's part in making this album even better. Her collab with Nicky Lee in So So, Gary Tsao in I Still belive, and I'm not quite sure if it's HanJin Tan (from the Invincible men, and the guys who collaborated with Edison Chen in his "Please Steal This Album) in (Track 6) Little Girl all amazed me.
Also with Jay Chou as the composer, you should probably have an idea of what magic this man puts into this album.
Recommended Tracks: 1 (So So) ,2 (Mermaid) ,4 (Woman Plans), 7 (lia dian Darling). Most of my recommended tracks are R&B since I'm not really that into slow songs but wait till you hear this for yourself and I'm sure your gonna like the ballads just as much or even more than I did.
I'm giving this album a 9 because Vivian sums up to my expectations, and even gives more that what I expected her to come out with. She should give praise to the artist whom she collaborated with for making her album even greater. The only downside I found in this album was that she didn't come out with more R&B or pop songs but I really liked the ballads.
I hope Vivian continues to progress in her next releases to come like she did in both "Love Unreservedly" and "Vivi and..."Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

September 17, 2006 He's still doing itI'm disappointed that Jay didn't come up with anything new and still continued with his usual music style, not that I'm complaining, I still bought "Still Fantasy" anyway.
I find Jay's voice getting old (not in an offensive way) but never the less if your a fan of Jay It's not such a bad album... that is if you love Jay entirely for his music.
If your new to Jay Chou's music, getting this album isn't any diffirent than getting his previous albums. I reckon that he's getting a bit better with slow songs and you can find that out for yourselves in Still Fantasy. To those who has been constructively listening to Jay Chou's "Still Fantasy" album, you could clearly say that he hasn't changed his trademark music that we all love.
I find this album worth listening to though I only really liked 5 tracks out of 10Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 21, 2006 Nan Quan Mama's Ballad Albumif Nan Quan Mama's previous albums we're filled with more pop-ish songs, 'Color Palette' changes the genre of music for awhile. This album is more focused on N.Q.M.'s ballad music styles although there is at least 1 R&B song in the album. I recommend this album if your in to keeping yourself updated with NQM's music or just simply want to own a copy of their ballad album. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

Heart Attack 3 (ALBUM+DVD)(Japan Version) DVD Region 2
(1)Our Price: US$34.99Usually ships within 7 - 14 daysJune 21, 2006 Hot Heart Attack!Heartsdales back again with another Remix Album! I just love their remix albums! Heart Attack 3 is a must have club / dance / disco cd. Really Awesome I tell you!
This is Cd apperently is nothing compared to Heart Attack 2 since it's a completely new set of remix songs, I wouldn't really compare it with Heart Attack 2 since those remixes we're more 'dance remixes'. The good thing about this CD is that it comes with the DVD which is a really good buy since I rarely see HeartsDales MVs.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
April 20, 2006 Getting Better and Better
new music styles from Angela Zhang! From her song "Mama Mama" in her Aurora album, R&B is a new put into this album which she's getting good at. I look forward to more of her R&B songs from her. Her ballads were awesome too! You can immediately tell with the first track of the album.
I'd definitely recommend this album, it won't disappoint you. Especially if your a fan of Angela

Hit Me (CD+VCD)
April 20, 2006 Only good for em' teeny boppersbeing a relative of a really good singer doesn't really mean you to can be all that great aswell. If she's serious about pop music she should either stick forever to her style or change it ASAP.
The album cover was good although it doesn't match the music in her album. She's not a bad singer but she's out of place. It's like the only song missing in her album is another cheesy pop song like "Bop-it" and I even think she'll sing it pretty well. The album itself is pretty good but I don't think it'll get so far as to becoming a chart topper.
By just listening to her song "Jik Mok Lonely" I don't get whats with the raspberry shake and add to that her other song "Rarity boy". These are personal songs no depht to it. Just like Gwen Steffani's "Hollerback Girl" what the heck is a hollerback girl? and to make the story short Jill's just good at making tunes that sound good without depht.
Recomended songs would be "Axel F", "Misbehave", "Get Out", "Wordy Rappinghood" I'd recommend this to those who like pop dance beats that fits well in a kiddy party. I'm just hopping that she can still improve her music or her talents are going to a waste.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

(9)Our Price: US$35.25Usually ships within 7 - 14 daysApril 20, 2006 Good but old beats were betterw-inds. album "Thanks" is a good album, but not as good as Ageha was. I enjoyed that songs "1 or 8", "it's in the stars" & "yakusoku no kara unplugged". I was suprised to hear such defferent genre of music w-inds came out with this album. From pop turning to mild rock. Rock music isn't really their forte but their doing pretty good with it. I hope they can still improve more on their next album if they keep on comming out with rock music.
never the less this album is good and I recomend w-inds fans to get their copy of this albumDid you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

February 14, 2006 I Hate to say it but...Will Liu, a newcomer.... He's done a great job on this album but as much as I hate to say it. He sounds like Jay Chou, the genres of his music reminds me of Jay Chou's "Fantasy" album. Hearing this from Will makes me wonder if he's going to be another one of those Jay wannabes but I'd recomend this album it's worth the price. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
2girls - in the sepiatone (Japan Version)
January 25, 2006 They'll probably do betterThis single is ok, but I don't think it's one of those chart topping Jpop singles. I'm giving this artist a 3/10, I'm new with Faith so I wouldn't know anything about their previous works or anything. I belive that Faith can do better, they have potential. I wouldn't recomend buying this single, this would be a single I'd play in between the "chart topping" songs just for a change of sound. It's worth a try though
I've probably heard better but I'm still keeping a copy of this single in my cd collection, for a look back on what Faith "used to be". I hate comparison but the group composition and their music style is somewhat reminds me of HeartsDales.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
December 26, 2005 Something a fan would appreciate
I would say that this album was made in a rush, 5 months. What can you make of it? Maybe an OK album, it will pass. In my view same goes for this album. It's not the best out of Kenny Kwan or is it the worst. It's most like a continuation to his Oncoming album as the songs would just rate just the same.
There is an exception for a few tracks though. "Say Love Me" (track 2) was a pretty catchy song and I liked it immediately. A collaboration was also made with Gillian Chung on "Conscience Discovery" (Track 5) not quite bad. Also a remake of "Beutiful Soul" by Jesse McArtney was made, sounded almost like the original one but it would definitely please the listener of the song. On the plus side, I think Kenny should come out with more slow songs like "Swimming in Four Directions" (Track 10).
Hopefully EEG won't try to make any more drastic steps in releasing an album in a rush, especially if the artist is a newcomer. This album wasn't much of dissapointment for me but it would probably be for those who expects too much from Kenny. If your planning to buy this album I would say think about it wisely, for the real Kenny Kwan Fans "go get this album!". I would listen to this album whenever I'm bored I know that for sure!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Yakusoku no Kakera (Japan Version)
December 23, 2005 Play With their listenersYakusoku No Kakera is a breeze of three different genres of songs all catchy and different from each other. W-inds being popular amongst the youngsters this single of theirs immediately topped the Oricon Charts on the release date itself which is quite impressive.
Compared from their last single, Izayoi No Tsuki this is a much better single. Track 1 (Yakusoku no kakera / Fragment of a promise) is a song used for another one of w-ind's Boubon gum commercial, quite a catchy song.
Track 2 (De Ja Vu), I was quite disappointed when I first heard this song in the radio. I was thinking, what was up with w-inds changing their music style. I couldn't make out if De Ja Vu was either rock, rap, or was their going to be any harmony with the lyrics and the song? but as I kept on listening to the song when I bought the single I started to like it more.
Track 3 (Pearl Dance) my favorite track in the single. Bursting with the first line in the song "Dance with me baby, put your best dress on" definitely a wow-ing track from W-inds. It's genre is like latin pop in japanese form, now that's a different genre!
Yakusoku no Kakera is definitely a good buy single from W-inds, I would recomend it to anyone!. This single won't make you miss the good old teeny bopper music that they used to make unlike Izayoi no Tsuki because it'd make you want to hear more of their new aged music. For w-inds, Keep bringing in the good quality music!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
