(2)Our Price: US$50.99Usually ships within 7 - 14 daysApril 22, 2011 stands on its ownWhile this Drama a clear tribute to Jang Nara's past huge Tv hit drama Bratty/Mischievous Princess, it is really only like in theme and not story or even characters, though on the surface it may seem so. Its humour is often very slap stick and at times crude but always funny! And unlike Bratty Princess it is much more edgy and dark at times to the point of being slightly disturbing, its certainly not for a child to watch without an adult around. It can not help but be compared to Bratty Princess, it often call a spin off from that drama. But really, its very much stands on its own and the link to BP is mainly that of the ever popular and youthful Jang Nara {30 years old but still easily able to play a 20 year old} and her casting in the drama made it a certain hit show in China.
I rated it an 8, there are a lot of errors in production and the drama could have used a week or more filming to smooth out the rough edges, but Jang Nara was already was filming another drama before this even ended, so I think in the time they had, they did a great job, would be a nine if it could have come out with English sub..:-)

Oh! Happy Day
April 7, 2009 Oh! Happy Day!Made in 2003 when Jang Nara is the "IT' girl of Korea both as a singer and actress, indeed I believe she was paid a record amount to appear in this film. Because she was so in demand and busy the film seems to have rushed into and that shows in both the story line and directing, indeed you get the impresstion that the film is simply an effort to cash in on Jang Nara's popularity more than anything else. Jang Nara herself was only 22 when she made this and her acting is somewhat undeveloped [to see her at her best try her tv drama Wedding] but she certainly gives 110% for effort.
But all that said, it does what it suppose to do, that is be funny, a bit over the top, but still great fun.
It is not a great work of film making, but it makes no pretence at that, it is a light comedy romance.
So watch it for laughs and give it a little slack in regard to story line, a good way to forget all your worries for 90 minutes

(2)Our Price: US$15.99January 22, 2008 english subtitlesI seen the show but with no english subtitles i would not wish to buy it. With english sub I would.
Jang Nara is as alway very cute and the show is both funny cute and touching. It is interesting to hear Miss Jang Nara dubbing herself in chinese, nice to hear her voice, instead of a voice actress. It is so good to see her acting again.
rating it as a seven for the lack of english subs, for those lucky enough to understand chinese a straight nine, as nothing perfect in this world.
