To begin with, this cd is very good. It is a decent introduction to the new singer, and slowly but surely, Mana is raising the production levels of all his songs, not just a few.

Trk 1: This is a pretty standard-fare MdM Opening track. It's much more elaborate, however, and serves to give a melody that becomes a kind of theme for the rest of the album. Every now and then, that little melody will re-emerge in a couple of tracks, very non-obtrusively, and it fits the theme of the album.

Trk 2: Here's where the intro begins to take shape and creates the first song. Very melodic, with the standard death voice. In my oppinion, it's production is up there with the two ending tracks Dialogue Symphonie-x and Shadows Temple-x.

Trk 3: This is a great song. K is all over this track, and does an absolutly wonderful job with the infamous Shadow X. This track is where Mana begins to really incorporate the electronic music, and it really fits the song. All the lyrics to this song are in, suprisingly decent, English. ^.^

Trk 4: This is probably one of the more unremarkable tracks on the album. It sounds like a mix of tracks 2 and 3. It has some nice melodies and riffs, but is still a bit of a hybrid.

Trk 5: This is a very pretty song, contrary to its title. There's a very nice piano intro and has a chorus not dissimilar to "Glory dans le Silence", just less complicated and fits with Seth's voice. Overall, a very nice track.

Trk 6: This song may make some of the Juka fans cringe considering it was originally his song, but Seth does a well enough job with it so that if you're a fan of Juka's rendition, you shouldn't be too offended.

Trk 7: This track is nice, but is really just a remix of the intro but with barely noticable guitar by Mana. It's a nice end to the album.

Seth does a great job as a vocalist, however, he seems to be holding back. I'm guessing that that was Mana's doing, and perhapse he's trying to save Seth's all-out voice for the next full cd. Overall, he's an excellent addition to the project with a lot of talent and control.

Also, another note: Sugiya and Hayato are not credited as playing on this album. In fact, Mana has used a very good drum maching for all the songs (don't worry, it isn't noticable other than the fact that it is *very* precise.) Those two are session players that will be playing at the FC event in a few months and as of yet, there's no word as to whether they'll become permanent members or not.
