Beyond expectations

Beyond the Gate was well-composed, and had a small, yet nice vareity of songs to listen to. Though the album overall features a heavy gothic rock feel to it, the instrumentation, featuring Mana's signature harpsicords and organs, was strong and clear and unique, as well as dramatic and beautiful. I love Seth's voice, too, as it suits the style perfectly, though I still think Juka's better. My favorite song would have to be Eternally Beyond. Its powerful and dramatic mood, along with beautiful classical and goth-rock arrangements and strong vocals make this a pleasure to listen to. |
