Bravo
Bravo
| I bought this CD because my friend gave me free front-row concert tickets to her recent Reflections of Joey Live 2005 concert. I do not speak a word of cantonese (ok, maybe 45 words) but I think that the album production and originality can be given an "above average" credit. While this album reminds me of Janet Jackson's Velvet Rope, it's own twist and an honest reflection of Joey's self and personality (in my own opinion) made this my first favorite Cantopop album. The packaging of the version 2 is quite cute but strange that it has some piece of lace on it (which I tell me friends is a part of Joey's outfit). The melody of the tracks and Joey's sweet voice (which fitted naturally, far from my expectations that her voice will not be flexible enough for different types of music) and the above average production and composition of the songs make this album great. Make sure you buy this one. |

Great CD
Great CD
| I have been listening to this CD all week and all the songs are really great. I really like track (2) & (6)- fast songs and the slow songs are easy to pick up- track (8) & (11). However the interludes are starting to annoy me and like what most reviewers are saying I'm pressing the skip button to get to the next songs. I'm giving 8/10 instead of 9/10 becoz of this. I prefer this cover than ver.2 cover coz that's really the Joey we know- for her singing not her body. |

How is the package of this CD?
| I buy the first Edition with the 80 pages scrapbook and I don't like it, the package is terrible. How is this one? Can someone tell me how is the package for this? And this CD is good, I like it. It is not the best CD but it is not the worst, I heard way more worst CD than this. Joey is tallented, I think she got a nice face and a nice voice. It just that some of the songs in this CD doesn't matches her voice. |

Yeah.. joey's pretty awesome. But really. the picture? I don't really see the relevance to her new cd. The songs are great though... especially the ballads and more singing more power... (right translation?) a bit irritated with her cockiness though |

I am not a big Joey's fan or what not. I never buy any Joey's CD, but I have listen to her songs a lot. I bought this CD out of interest. I found it quite good. I liked all the songs. I believe that Joey have improved her way of singing and she did a very beautiful job of expressing the feeling of the lyrics and herself. I personally don't like the interlude in between the songs because it is plug in as a track, and everything i have to skip it when i play the CD, I found that kind of NON-SENSE, i really just want to listen to the song itself. **I don't like the idea that they make VERSION I, VERSION II, OR LIMITED EDITION. ** I MEAN THE SONGS ARE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME ONLY THE PICTURES ARE DIFFERENT OR THERE IS A DVD, MV .....etc but what's the point???? SHOULD I REGRET THE FACT THAT I BOUGHT MIND IN AUGUST? SO ITS NOT A VERSION II, OR WHAT???? I AM SURE A LOT OF PEOPLE FEEL THE SAME WAY !!!! |

I've been an avid Joey fan ever since she came out with her first CD. I must admit that she is one of the more talented singers out there on the HK market. The songs on this CD are not great. I really prefer her old songs more (especially on her "Nine to Five" CD). I'm really disappointed that she chose such a provocative picture for her CD cover. This, to me, seems like it's not about her music anymore. Do we really need to resort to putting pictures like these on covers of a CD? And what's the deal with the whole Version 1 and Version 2? I know music companies are trying to make more money, but could they at least be a little more creative? Overall, mediocre CD, and terribly disappointed at what Joey has become. |

What a shame

I have been a fan of Joey for the last few years. However, I didn't like this CD as the tracks are not very memorable. The titles "Singing Stronger and Stronger" and "Heavenly Girl" are needlessly self serving and smirks of her huge ego as of late. Even the "Heavenly Kings" in their hey day seemed to have more tact and humility. |

| I prefer to listen to her slow songs, it's a pity there aren't much this time. The interludes don't make sense...don't know her meaning with it |

Worth the wait
Worth the wait
| Both covers are very nice, and version 2 is well worth the wait for those who are patient. I already have version 1 and I don't intend to get the 2nd, but it still looks like a good deal. All the slow songs are amazing, but fast songs I only like track 13. The interludes have been cut really short now to the point where they are actually somewhat pointless. As much as I want the DVD, it's probably more worth it to wait for the next Love Joey karaoke. |
