2004年9月23日に、シングル「恋のヌケガラ」でデビューしたハロプロの注目ユニット"美勇伝"。メンバーは石川梨華（モーニング娘。）を筆頭に、2003年8月の「ハロー！プロジェクト新ユニット・オーディション」に合格した三好絵梨香と、2004年6月の「ハロプロ・エッグ・オーディション2004」に合格した岡田唯という、期待の顔ぶれ。2ndシングル「カッチョイイゼ！JAPAN」でも好評を博し、ユニット名の由来にもなっている日本美を見せつけた。
