The Black Cat returns with guns a-blazing in Black Cat 2. Again directed by Stephen Shin, this action-packed sequel sees Jade Leung reprising the role that made her famous. Leung's icy cold assassin is a classic character among Hong Kong's girl-with-gun heroines, and she outdoes her work in the original in the action department. Shot completely in Europe, Black Cat 2 also co-stars Robin Shou from Mortal Kombat. After the trials outlined in the first film, Leung's Erica is brought back to CIA headquarters and her memory is wiped, making her even more cold and heartless. When the agency discovers an international terrorist group is planning to assassinate the Russian president, Erica and agent Robin are sent out to stop the assassins, but a trap is already waiting for them.
