The series Bleach centers on the life of Kurosaki Ichigo, a seemingly ordinary fifteen-year-old high schooler with a special power - he can see ghosts! One fateful day, he crosses paths with a female Shinigami (Soul Reaper) named Kuchiki Rukia. She's tracking an evil spirit called a Hollow, and its prey is none other than Ichigo! During a face-off with the spirit, Rukia is wounded, so she transfers her powers to Ichigo to save the day. Eventually, the duo embarks on a series of adventures, full of twists and turns!

Now Sega brings the spectacularly rich world of the Bleach series to the GameCube in Bleach GC, a cell-shaded 2D fighter featuring twenty-five playable characters, including series stars Ichigo, Rukia, and Renji! With an accessible battle system that is a throwback to classic fighting games, Bleach GC features two attack buttons and the ability to jump, block, dodge, and perform chain combos. The game also features the ability to go into Bankai mode, which allows players to slow down time to damage their opponents even more. In addition, the game features an exclusive story mode and a large "omake" mode sure to delight even the most diehard Bleach fanatics!
