Best CD
| This is my all time favorite music CD. Eason has made much excellent music after this album but this one still remains the best to me. The songs still feel fresh and special even arter listening to them for several years. |

Wonderful Mandarin CD

This is my most favorite Mandarin CD from Eason Chan. I love the song "Blessed Wedding" because he sings will deep feeling. You can feel the pain in this song. How the girl he deeply loves and cares about is getting married to someone else. Even though it is a sad song, his singing is so good that he makes the song and lyrics sound good. There are quite a number of slow songs and a couple of medium tempo songs on this CD. |

My First Eason's Recognition
| The first time I watched Eason was in his MV "Blessed Wedding", of which he sang on the roof with antennas, under an overcast day. Track #1 (Blessed Wedding) was indeed new and original as its lyric focused on the occasion in which the ex, whom one still loved, invited that person to the ex's wedding. The bitter triangle relationship is pictured in the lyric. The notes, furthermore, were also original, and Eason sang it pretty well. Track #6 (The Sadness Diary) is perhaps my favorite in this album. The voice Eason carries was soothing and touching, not overacted. In terms of lyric, though, it is only above mediocre, but in 2000 it was pretty good already. Track #5 is a track written by Tom Pan, with lyric explaining the seven-day love story. However, I cannot comment on its originality in terms of the composition as it resembles quite closely with Jeff Chang's then "Love is Only One Word". The other tracks like Track #8 "Just Between the Two of Us" and Track #9 "Existence" do have catchy notes, but they are not as good as the mentioned above. |
