無名小卒保羅在護送印度古寶“血寶石”給盧域途中，為求掩人耳目，把它放進沙迪及史芬尼夫婦的行李內，但陰錯陽差，寶石竟從行李掉進司機西保的車尾箱中，盧域為求奪回寶石，遂綁架了史芬尼來要脅沙迪，沙迪惟有付出厚酬命西保交出寶石，但被盧域發現是偽品，因而引至連場惡戰，而真正的“血寶石”下落……
In 18th Century the British stole away an antique ruby called the Bloodstone from India. In 1988, smaltime crook Lorre steals the stone back. While delivering to Van Hoeven, he realized the authorities are onto him. So he slips the priceless gem into the baggage of the unsusoecting Sandy and Stephanie Mcvey. Lorre indictes the American couple and their taxi-driver Sabu to Van Hoeven's thugs. Although Sabu realizes being followed, he fails to notice the huge ruby fall inside his trunk. Later, stephanie is kidnapped for ruby's sake. Van Hoeven contacts Sandy: Stephanie for the gem. Sandy promises to pay Sabu well for producing the stone in exchange for Stephanie's life. However, Sabu's ruby is proved to be fake and both Sandy and Sabu ar moments from execution.....
