Hamasaki Ayumi is following the success of her latest album Rock'n'Roll Circus with a series of releases that will lead up to her 50th single. MOON / blossom, the first of the three single releases, is a double A-side single that features two brand-new songs from the Queen of J-pop. Hoshino Yasuhiko, the writer of Ayu's first single Poker Face, wrote the two songs in the single. MOON is a power ballad that also serves as the theme song for car manufacturer Honda's latest commercials, and blossom is an engaging dance song with the rock sound that fans have become familiar with in recent years.

Jacket C Edition puts Blossom as the first track and comes with new versions of Rock'n'Roll Circus tracks Don't look back and meaning of Love.
