Blue Bird is a great song! If you love the song Fairyland, you'll love this one too. The remix is great and I just loooooove the new version of Ladies Night.

Ayu's 40th single [BLUE BIRD]! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Ayu has already 40 singles?! That's great! Specialy when the single is one of her best singles. It really gives you a wonderful summer-feeling. [BLUE BIRD] sounds a little sad but it's really great! [Beautiful Fighters] is a really good song, just amazing. It is funny too with the chorus. [Ladies Night ~another night~] is the new rockish version of the previous [Ladies Night]. But to me it isn't as great as the normal version. The remix named [BLUE BIRD "Harderground remix"] is a little bit too trance to my taste. The PV of [BLUE BIRD] is just stunning. You get too see Ayu having fun and then there's the stunning mountains and sea. [Beautiful Fighters] PV was a dissapointment to me. The song is really great, but the PV isn't. [making of BLUE BIRD] shows how they did everything, and I was suprised about some filming methods. This single so worth of buying! You will never regret that you bought it!!

BLUEBIRD is AYU 40th single to release. The single was initially supposed to be a triple A-side single. "BLUEBIRD" is the CM song for ZESPRI Gold Kiwi beverages while "Beautiful Fighters" is featured on her Panasonic D-snap & D-dock CM. A remixed of Ladies Night~ Another Night is rockish [better than the orginal]was featured in an earlier Panasonic LUMIX commercial. On Ayu offical website, Ayu describes BLUEBIRD as being a summer song, and Beautiful Fighters as being a song praising women.

Blue bird is an upbeat and inspirational song. While Beautiful fighter is another catchy song and a great b side that compliments Blue bird. It's no surprise that Blue bird has become another hit single for Ayumi. If you have not been a fan of Ayu's recent singles or album, buy this and you will change your mind. Any Jpop lover will enjoy this single greatly and replay the songs over and over again.

i've been listening to ayumi for quite a bit..but not a really into her..but after hearing this single..my love for ayumi is growing..i really like blue bird..the song gives me a happy feeling..quite suitable for the summer season right now..it's a bit fast-paced..but not techno/disco kind..so there's a different dancing feeling to it..the pv for the single was amazing..love it 100%..the scenary was perfect..and it suits the song perfectly..way better than her fairyland pv...as for her other track beautiful fighters..i have to give this a bad song..to me personally..it's quite boring..repetitive..too cutesy..kinda like her old songs..the pv was okay too..nothing majorly special..overall..i really love blue bird..and it's not a bad single..hoping ayumi's next release would be even better

After all the rumors about this single being a triple a-side, and then it doesn't follow through, it does make the big 40 less grand. However, BLUE BIRD is a great single nonetheless. For die hard fans who plan to buy all three versions, it is a MAJOR disappointment that the covers vary so little, but the cover is very beautiful by itself. If you don't like BLUE BIRD and/or Beautiful Fighters at first listen, don't worry, I guarantee they will grow on you. BLUE BIRD is energetic, fun, and exhilarating; the perfect summer song for this year. The vocal mods in Beautiful Fighters are cute, even though I never understand what she says in english. I seem to like this track more than BLUE BIRD though. Also, the remixes make this single all the more reason to buy it! Ladies Night sounds so awesome as a rock version, and the Harderground remix of BLUE BIRD is one of her best trance remixes of all time. Keep it up ayu!

Since the news that this single was no longer triple a-side, as originally planned by avex + ayu, I was a little dissapointed- and I must admit, a little biast in my opinion towards this single in the negative.
I have just recently heard the tracks and I am actually quite impressed. BLUE BIRD is a catchy summer song that really does grow on you. Music composer Dai from the former band Do As Infinity never fails to impress. Beautiful Fighters is an addictive pop/rock tune that will get you dancing in no time. You'll be humming it all day long. Ladies Night ~another night~ mix is a fantastic remix of an already excellent song. With hardcore rock to back it up, I admit, I was jamming to this in my car nonstop. But what REALLY impressed me was the trance remix of BLUE BIRD. The constant changes in the beat just gradually become more exquisite. This is probably my favorite track on the single, and I don't even like trance music in particular.
With ayu putting her heart and soul into her works (and it shows!), her 40th single is fully loaded and won't leave the buyer with remorse at all! Definately a must buy.

40th Single & Still Loving Her Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Wow when I first saw the video to BLUE BIRD and Beautiful Fighters, I was totally amazed how Ayu-san could always stay at the top. She's totally awesome. This 40th single proves it too! Some people were whining about her 39th single Startin'/Born to Be... and how they're starting to dislike her because they "like her old stuff better." But I always think she's the best in all her music. Startin'/Born to Be... was a total hit for #1 on the charts but BLUE BIRD/Beautiful Fighters is just going to bring her to the top more! Any Ayumi fan would definitley want to buy this! I highly reccomend it.

Wow. After 39 singles, we get one that is as magnificent as this one... but that's expected of the the resident J-pop queen Ayumi Hamasaki, isn't it? Her two new songs, BLUE BIRD and Beautiful Fighters both give off happiness like no other. BLUE BIRD's lyrics speak of lending a wing to another when one is weak.. simply amazing. Beautiful Fighters tells the message of women who are strong and unwavering, but also speaks of wounds that will always heal eventually. Balanced out with the Harderground remix of BLUE BIRD and an amazing rearrangement of Ladies Night by tasuku, this single is certainly a musical masterpiece. The DVD includes the PVs and a making of BLUE BIE, which is sure to please fans of the promotion video! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a dosage of high-energy long-lasting J-pop.
