I have ambivalent feelings towards this movie. In some ways very cute, some ways very sad. It's split up into several storylines about several men and their relationships with the people in their life. A lot of it was pointless crap to be honest and that's where this film loses points. William So and the one with the father/daughter relationship are very touching and meaningful, but the other ones are very contrived.Yes even the one with Julian and Charmaine. Although I really loved his pet turtle. Btw, you WILL cry when you fully watch the section involving the little girl. ;) Not a bad movie and starts off very light heartedly, but the mood goes downhill from there. |

perfect movie!! highy recomend it if yr a charmaine chilam fan.. only the ending was so sad.. i wish he didnt have to die.. his death ws too easy, i cant believe dat nobody saw him...otherwise, fantastic movie, wont regret buying it.. |

dis movie is soo good! charmaine and chi lams acting is really good. charmaine acting was very convincing.. chilam acting is pretty good too. i didnt really lyke da wnding cuz julian died so easily. i cant believe dat nobody saw him dying on the ground. charmaine is beautiful in yet another movie. you wont refret buying it!! you will LOVE IT !!~ |

Pretty good!

This movie was much better than Perfect Match. The fact that there was an on-going story line, instead of three seperate stories. This movie touches relationships and situations where "people take each other for granted". This story was not predictable at all, as the ending was much of a surprise. The relationship that builds between Chi Lam and Charmaine's character grew very quickly, yet thoroughly. You could almost feel the intensity between them. I believe the story about Calvin Choi and her daughter was a tear-jerker event, especially of the shock ending of hers at the end. Sherming and Calvin's story was a bit awkward, since the movie barely explained their situation. I have to say, this movie allowed you to grow on the characters as they develop on screen. You become attach to one or the other. Either it was Sherming, or Calvin or Chi Lam, you felt a little attach to them by the end...and that might have led you to shed some tears. This is a great movie...with a great lesson to be learned. |

I thought this movie was excellent except it had sad endings. IT was like the couples in Perfect Match didn't end up being together in this movie besides the new couples. It was so sad. I wish they would change the ending..... :( |

I found this movie rather sad because it talked about how the love lives of the common people and how love is very complicated. At the end i found that to be very depressing because the father had never given anything for her to cherish but his cup noodles and the new school uniform. After a while, father comes to realize how her daughter played a major role in his life. |

I luv it!!!!

This movie was so good. I did not regret spending money on it at all. Chilam's performance was excellent and Charmaine's acting was cute. Some people say that they are disappointed with ending and they dont like the movie for that reason but i luv it because even though it was sad, the ending had a good touch. It leaves audience with a lingering feeling and they wont forget this movie easily. I just didnt like the way how he was killed cuz it was too easy! |
