　　火國公主明珠 (文蘭飾) 往土國游說，欲邀聯盟共抗水國，土國飛鷹太子 (梁醒波飾)，雖答允相助，惟都督寶鼎 (羅劍郎飾) 恃才傲物，對明珠多番留難，幸明珠想出草船借箭、借東風、火攻水營等奇謀，令寶鼎對明珠又愛又恨，甘拜裙下。及後率領兩國聯軍大破水國，二人亦終成眷屬。

　　Princess Pearl of Fire Kingdom is dispatched as a special envoy to Earth Kingdom, rallying an alliance against Water Kingdom. The plan is initially supported by Flying Eagle, the crown prince of Earth Kingdom, but the arrogant general Bo Ding makes life difficult for Pearl. The princess devises such shrewd and successful tactics as 'Straw Boats for Arrows', 'Borrow the Easterly Winds' and 'Fire Attack of the Water Camp', Bo is entangled in a love-hate relationship with Pearl. After their defeat of Water Kingdom, they get married.
