My first album/single from BoA's Korean work. I was really excited when I got it. The front cover looks great and so do the pictures inside.
However, most of the songs didn't reach my expectations. Some of the songs are really catchy and fun to listen and sing to like "My Name", "Spark", "My Prayer" and "We" but the others aren't that great. They're missing something.

But hey, whatever floats your boat.

This was worth buying.

Pleasing. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This was the 3rd BoA album that I own. When it came, I was really excited and I put it in my MP3 player to listen. I was really pleased - I actually liked the entire album, not just a couple of songs and the rest ho-hum. She balances everything perfectly in this album.

I must say, that this album by BoA is really good... of all 14 tracks on this album, I like about 12 songs on this CD... there are only like 2 songs that I don't really care for and they are back-to-back: Pit-a-Pat, and I Kiss... other than that, the rest of the songs, in my opinion are EXCELLENT, especially tracks 8, 9, 11, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 12, 13, and 14...the next thing is they all have really nice meanings to them...and to me, yes, My Name does have some resemblance to Toxic, but who cares? As long as it's a good song, doesn't really matter, right? If you compare the two songs, the lyics are alot alike (but don't MOST singers sing about the same things these days?) and the music itself does share some of the same elements... and I do agree that the beginning of the song sounds a lot like J. Timberlake's "Like I Love You", but, even though they do sound similar, there is something about My Name that is different from the other two songs... I can't put my finger on it right now, but there is definitely something different... anyway, moving right along... this is a great CD and if you don't already have this album, you should definitely add it to your music collection, cause if you don't, you will be missing out on great music... and if you can't understand Korean, then she also has this album in Chinese, and she has made Japanese albums as well... at least give BoA a try... she definitely has impressed me with this album...but that's my opinion...

This album is so excellent, one of BoA's best. *My Name* was the first song and M.V. I ever herd and listened to of BoA's and I'm glad I did. My Name is a must have cd and a must see/hear song. My Name, Spark, Don't give a Damn, We are all excellent songs on this album. This album shows BoA's sexy side to her esspecially My Name it gives people a mature look to her, she is no longer a lil' princess anymore she is a mature QUEEN of POP in this album. Personally I didn't like her old sweat innocent kinda songsl ike *Shine we Are* It made me unhappy =) Yay for MY NAME!

This album is filled with a mixed of ballads and pop/dance songs..with a very unique twist, the korean pop star made its comeback. I know a lot of people that hate her or her music(due to repetitions and other factors) but seriously shes a good singer... at least for this album. Especially her ballads are not bad at all. I would recommend this album to anyone even to those who hate her. The music is outstanding and the lyrics are well written. I would have to say she did exceptionally well. And to those who said only two songs were good(spark and my name), they're pretty close-minded. Need me to say more??? Get the cd and litsen to it more than one time. I'm those that need a second time around to really appreciate, don't know about you?

BoA's getting there.. Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Heh, as a Korean, comparing her music to other Korean artists.. I'd say she's well on her way to really convincing me that she's an actual 'kpop star'. Personally [and I speak for many other Koreans], I don't really like BoA for a lot of reasons, however, her music is something to be considered. This album, for instance, is quite good... like Spark, Ooree/We, Konoyono Shirushi, and etc are really good. Sometimes, I play the songs for hours.. yup. Her music's quite unique, and even though I don't like her, I'm still eager to hear more new music from her.

I think this album is ok....I like some sings in the album,for example:Spark,My Name,Etude,My Prayer,Don't Give A Damn.......Boa sure has matured from her cutesy pop princess feeling.......
