Elegant, as always Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
As an actress, Matsu Takako radiates a quiet intelligence, subdued passion, and simple elegance. These same qualities characterize her musical recordings.

"Bokura ga Ita" is Matsu's most consistent album to date. It is perhaps surprising that, while the CD features a team of musicians, producers, and songwriters known for creating stylish, contemporary-sounding music, this album is not at all contemporary in its approach. The music here would not have sounded out of place in the 70s, 80s, or 90s.

Don't expect fireworks. No electronic dance beats, power chords, or vocal gymnastics are on display here. This is clean, simple, classic mainstream pop. Highly recommended.

Excellent Easy Listening CD Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Matsu Takako - Bokuraga Ita CD contains many excellent songs. The genre is easy listening. And it is fantastic. This CD is definitely worth the wait (she had not released a CD since 2003). It is obvious that she worked very hard on this full album. Track #1 - Akarino Tomoru Houe is very upbeat. Track #3 - Zutto is a slow and mesmerizing song. Track #4 - Tokino Hune has a kind of country-like, Irish-like style. Track #5 - Soleares Memory has a light jazz feel to it. Track #7 - Sonohimade has a 1950s old fashion feel to it. Track #10 - Bokuraga Ita is a slow and relaxing song. My favorite tracks are #1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11. Matsu Takako has a beautiful and sweet voice. She has the ability to sing a variety of styles and ranges. I highly enjoyed the entire CD and recommend it to those who like easy listening music or those who like music in general. Matsu Takako fans will definitely be happy to have this in their music collection.
