October 28, 2010 Best Mini-Album from SNSDBefore Hoot, I've found most of SNSD's mini-albums to be rather lackluster outside the main song (Gee & Genie). This album however is stacked with great songs. "Wake Up" is the kind of song I've wanted to hear from them since forever. It's got that nice club beat. "My Best Friend" is a rock/pop song, and it's very catchy. I'm not a big ballad guy, but "Mistake" is very nice. Plus it was written by Yuri making it extra special~ And of course "Hoot" is a hoot. Great retro type song. Extremely catchy, just what you'd expect for the song they promote.
I haven't received my copy in the mail yet, but from what I've seen, the girls all look amazing in the photobook. Looks to be the same size as their "Oh!" album which is awesome (bigger pics compared to their last 2 minis).
To make a long story longer, go buy this album!

September 19, 2010 bakssu cheo~ modu bakssu cheo~Great 1st album from the girls of 2ne1. Although I think they overdid it with autotune on some of the songs, it's still a great album. I think most people would have rather had new songs, but I love that they included the solo's and the reggae remix of "I don't care" since they were all extremely catchy (and only released in digital form before this).
Also worth noting is the packaging. The photobook included is awesome with some great pictures of the ladies. Best of all, the lyrics for the songs are all hand written by the girls! CL's hand writing is so slick.
They are already generating mass sales and even topping itunes (in the US! wow~). So support these talented ladies and buy your copy~

I used to refer to her as a poor man's Namie Amuro, but after listening to this album a few times, I can say she's made a fan out of me.
I've had Bad Girl, SEX, and Lost on constant repeat.
And don't listen to the folks who say she can't sing. Leah Dizon she is NOT.
Also worth noting is the PV's. They are of really high quality. And it doesn't hurt that she is looking unbelievably hot in all of them ;D
