Amami Yuki is the boss in Fuji TV's all-star ensemble police drama BOSS, one of the highest-rated series of the 2009 spring season. Amami stars as Osawa Eriko, a tough-as-nails career policewoman whose specialty is using psychological profiling to solve cases. She has just returned from the States to head a new violent crime division established with the help of her longtime friend, a playboy senior inspector played by Yutaka Takenouchi. Osawa wants the best team, but what she gets instead is a ragtag group of leftovers - Tamayama Tetsuji, Toda Erika, Mizobat Junpei, Kendo Kobayashi, Nukumizu Youichi - who gradually rise to the occasion as they take on different tough and dangerous cases. BOSS guest stars include Yamada Takayuki, Konishi Manami, Shida Mirai, Namase Katsuhisa, and Sorimachi Takashi.
