I am soo glad I decided to buy this even though there are sheet music of these songs out there on website. The high quality of the book is much more than I expected. The front and back cover is glossy and shiny and even the pages inside are thick and of quality paper which makes it well worth the money as it doesnt get damaged easily flicking back and forth through it. I was worried about how the songs from the soundtrack would transcibe as a piano score but they have done an excellent job. It is clearly laid out and concise and sounds very much like the real songs that they all sound so beautiful on the piano. Its not of a very simple playing standard (which wouldnt sound very good) but neither is it too difficult for the average player. I compared the original scores in this book to ones on websites and I have to say the original transcibes the music in a much better way which makes it easier to read, and is slightly more complex in both hands (more chord use etc) which makes the music sound more enriching. Another upside of this music book is that there are many beautiful pictures scattered throughout, especially at the beginning where there are double paged spreads of F4 and stills from the drama. Also most big piano books I get are quite hard to open fully and place on the piano but this one is made in such a way that I have no problem putting it on my stand and not having it falling off. Overall, I would really recommend this as its a great music score book to add to your BOF collection, it sounds exactly like the OST and is very fun to play. Definitely one of the best I own. |
