YesAsia Editorial Description
Is your frontal lobe getting flabby? Then Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes A Day is for you! This unique "brain training" game for the Nintendo DS makes almost exclusive use of the touch screen and built-in microphone for a series of minigames designed to test your mental dexterity. Brain Age consists of a number of mathematical, memorization, and comprehension exercises that get harder and harder as the game progresses. New challenges are unlocked as old challenges are beaten, and the game saves your score, measuring your improvement and "Brain Age." If you score well, you can be judged as having the brain age of a 20 year-old, which is based on a sampling of scores from various people of different ages. It's all rather cerebral.
Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes A Day was developed by Professor Ryuta Kawashima, a Japanese neuroscientist who has developed numerous games designed to give your brain a workout. Theoretically, some daily Brain Age sessions can improve your intelligence! Brain Age is essentially a single-player experience, though there's also a multiplayer mode for those wanting to compare brain sizes. Up to fifteen players can compete using just one copy of the game! And for those who've exhausted the various mental tests, Brain Age features the popular grid-based numerical puzzle game "Sudoku". Thanks to Brain Age, your brain may never be the same again.
