Sparks fly when she meets the handsome American Will Darcy, but is it love or hate? Darcy comes off to Lalita as an arrogant snob while Darcy views Lalita as a small-town Indian beauty. They also have to overcome the cross culture barriers.

A light-hearyed fun musicsl, for someone who may n Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
I saw this movie on a cold and snowy day in April. It was much better than I had expected. Although, I must admit the first time the cast went into a musical number I was unsure of how it would all go together. But, it had a good flow and the singing didn't detract from the overall story line.

I think the cast did a wonderful job of making the story real and it was a great new twist on the classic Jane Austin novel. I was kind of surprised to see Alexis Beidel in it, she changed the character of Georgia a lot. The scenes shown of India were lovely and it made me want to travel there an see the beauty for my self.
I went to see it because Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel and I like to see all of the different versions of it out there. This was a great surprsie and a cheerful way to spend an afternoon. I reaally enjoyed it!
