A popular cast that includes Ethan Ruan (Monga), Blue Lan (Falling in Love), Terri Kwan (The Heirloom), and pop duo Awaking's Jay Shih (Spider Lilies) comes together for Taiwan's X-Men! The first feature film from young director Shiao Li Shiou, the effects-laden fantasy action thriller Brotherhood of Legio premiered at the 2007 Golden Horse Film Festival, but was unfortunately doomed to commercial oblivion when the production company collapsed before the film's proposed theatrical release.

The story of Brotherhood of Legio revolves around the "Temple of Legio", an ancient secret organization formed by "Legios", or people born with different sorts of super powers. The Legios have discreetly played a pivotal role throughout the history of the world. When a mysterious figure (Jay Shih) from the Temple of Legio appears in today's Taipei, five seemingly unrelated ordinary young people are forced to participate in a series of cruel initiation tests, through which they would embrace their destiny...or death.
