Silky smooth and soulful

"Soul Free" by Brown Eyed Soul is just about as flawless a first album as you ever will hear. One memorable song after another, with pitch perfect lead vocals soaring over a velvety blanket of rich harmonies. It puts me in mind of the very best of 90s R&B group Boyz II Men, yet is more mature and often more musically sophisticated. The album starts with an a capella gem and proceeds with astonishing consistency through a range of R&B and soul stylings. The album's sole misstep is the misbegotten hip hop of track 8. Skip over it; there's a cornucopia of musical gems to behold. Buy this album! Don't delay! Get some Brown Eyed Soul in your life. |

I LOVE Brown Eyed Soul! I'm just starting to listen to their album and I'm loving all of it. I've also just ordered both Volumes from Brown Eyes just cause Na Ul Is the one of the best male singers i have ever heard of. So go get their album...you won't regret it!!!!! |

Great R&B

Brown eyed soul is an album I was suggested into buying. I knew who Na Eul was from brown eyes but I had no idea how good the whole album was. I must admit I have never heard vocal talent as good as Na Eul. Go out and get a copy. It will be the best CD you'll ever own! One more thing I'm not being biased. I listen to Whee Sung, and Park hyo shin both good R&B artists, but can't stand a chance to Brown eyed soul. |

Absolutely, this album is INCREDIBLE! I am a pure Filipino who can understand a little bit of Korean, and also an avid KPOP Listener. When I first listen to the songs in this album, particularly "Brown Eyed Girl" and "My Everything", tears flow in my eyes... The whole album is a mixture of different blend of music. It is definitely an album which will touch your heart and soul... |

whoever he is, he is awesome. this one friend of mine knows that i am obsessed with korean music, even though i am vietnamese. however, his songs hit me so hard. they were fantastic. this guy has a great voice - great rhythms and good songs. i suggest you to listen to - i believe - no day but today - tell me why? - how am i... - yeah those songs are my favourite. |

brown eyed soul, the best

This album is awesome.. absolutely fantastic. it has a rythim of deep lyrics with a rich sound of 4 voices, especially naul's voice. I love each and every song.. but my faves are... 1. Go - Just the feeling of the voices.. like theyre crying, its overwhelming.. its a wonderful song. 2. Alcohol - its a soul ballad, very unique.. it has like a perfect mixture of voices... lovely. 3. My everything - the romantic classic... wow! I love all the songs.. anyway! THIS ALBUM YOU HAVE TO BUY IT!!! YOULL NEVER REGRET!!! |

they got soul and rhythm

I'm not Korean but i do like to listen to Kpop artists. I must say that Brown Eyes is the most talented group i've ever listened to. Thier fusion of R&B, soul, house, a bit of rock and acapela is soothing and moving. I like the fact that they write thier own music, and do the graphics for thier albums, Thats talent!!!! this album is amazing! i think i have listened to it about a thousand times already. i recommend that any fan of k-pop buy this album. their voices are supurb. the songs are great to listen to. its a great buy. i did not regret buyin this album one bit. in cant name a favourite song on this album because they are all so good. i could go on and on about this brown eyed soul album but i dont think i would have enough room, so go buy the album!!! |

Brown eyed soul: I can still listen to Nah Ul sing

It's too bad that the best duo brown eyes broke up like this but hey, u still got Nah Ul. He wrote most of the songs in brown eyes anyway. Brown eyes had even distribution of singing, but in brown eyed soul Nah Ul does most of the singing and the rest of the three members sing in the background. I found that The cd has a similar feel as brown eyes' 2nd album. I got this album when it came out and is still being played along with brown eyes' 2nd cd. :D I really hope brown eyes get back together and start producing good music again. We all need good listening. That's why you are here reading my review, right? peace. |

Haven't heard all yhet - but so far so good.

So far listened to a few songs, I find it pretty good. For the previous message...I think they broke up because Yoon Gun wasn't very happy about the pay and had an argument with the management. So he decided to go solo...Well, that's what my Korean friends told me anyway. Cheers~! |
