Bruce Lee was the greatest master of unarmed combat the world has ever seen. How could the self proclaimed world's fittest man die so suddenly at the very height of his career? Could foul play have been involved or even murder?

Death by Misadventure goes in depth behind the scenes as we unfold the greatest mystery of the martial arts movie world. It also highlights a profile of Bruce Lee's only legacy. Brandon Lee, which charts the rising star's emergence as a major force in action cinema of the 90's until his tragic and untimely death in March 1993.

Quite Poor! Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
'Death By Misadventure' is a dreadful expolitation film on Bruce Lee and very poorly made. The Bruce Lee Estate quite rightly want nothing whatsover to do with George Tan; resulting in him using numerous unofficial sources. Worse frequent use of clips from dreadful Bruce Li (lookalike) movies, and this is meant to be a tribute? Bruce would be turning in his grave. Albert Goldman, Tom Bleeker, Gorge Tan are all in the same boat - out to exploit a legend with sensationalistic and poorly produced efforts. Nicely packaged though, good for collectors who must have everything, shame it's such a dreadful tacky made film.

good content Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I enjoyed this documentary very much. Although i admit to liking the film Dragon this movie really had the information I was looking for. Overall it is somewhat low budget but you won't care because of all of the great interviews and footage that are in the piece.

There was a very interesting fact that i was not aware of until I watched this video, that being that Bruce used CANNABIS. I am sure that it had NOTHING TO DO WITH HIS DEATH since I have studied the medical info on the substance in depth. One of the doctors in the movie seems to be suggesting that Bruce could have been the fist person in thousand of years to have a reaction to the drug that killed him. Clearly there were many elements involved in his death and trying to blame cannabis for his death is just as insane as blaming the pain killer he took. Although the doctor in the film mentions that he was prone to seizures and clearly had some serious neurological problems for some reason he seems quick to point a finger at cannabis.

Other then that this was a great documentary and worth checking out if you are even slightly interested in Bruce Lee.

A message from the producer.................. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
My name is George Tan and I am the writer and producer of Death by Misadventure.

This feature was made in response to the 1993 film Dragon:The Bruce lee Story, which was approved by Linda Lee.

The film was fiction at best, and I put my film together in the hopes that the real Bruce Lee would not be forgotten.

My film deals with the most asked question in martial arts-How did Lee really die?

This film will answer that question and go beyond it.

There is also an abundance of unseen footage, photos and information to make this a definite buy for the serious or even casual Bruce Lee fan.

I also suggest purchasing the newly re-mastered Hong Kong DVD Box set of Lee's films from Intercontinental Films in Hong Kong. This is the best tranfer quality to date.
