UVERworld has been rocking the J-music world since their debut album timeless, which landed on the No. 5 spot on the Oricon charts. Now it's time for the second album, Bugright, which presents the quintet's latest works.
UVERworld, consisting of leader/guitarist Katsuya, vocalist Takuya 8, guitarist Akira, bassist Nobuhito, and drummer Shintaro, provides a unique music palette, ranging from heavy rock and jazz to funk and R&B. Bugright includes the theme songs Colors of the Heart and SHAMROCK, which are featured in BLOOD+ and Dance Drill, respectively. Another highlight that can be found on the new album is Kimi no sukina uta ("The Song You Like") from the TBS variety program Honey Coming.
The initial version comes with a 24-page booklet and a DVD featuring three music videos and making of footage.

Worth the wait
| All I've got to say is that this album is worth the wait. All the songs are really addicting to listen to. At first when I heard the songs I thought they were very different from all their other songs. They kind of are because there very pop rock. The only rock song that there is DISCORD. But the album is still very good. I really like "Live everyday as if it were the last day" because its a very inspiring song. I also like tracks 3,7,8,13 thos are my favorite. The DVD is good too. |
