as beautiful as Nic
| This album is really his BEST album ... i loved Viva but this one relly showed just how great a composer Nic is ... 'Butterfly' is a beautiful and full song with lovely violin sounds throughout. I have been a fan of his for quite a long time and this album really stood out. To me, it is one of the best album i have ever heard. All the tracks are strong and good and there is a mix of everything ... ballad and a bit of rock ... the last track of the album also have his live version of 'Butterfly'. |

Best album from him ever

Love love love this album! His best work ever. With SUGIZO from Luna Sea writing track 2 and 6, and his own two hits, track 2 and 5, there's nothing wrong with this album at all! The Prelude of "Jade Butterfly" slowly eases its way into the second song, "Don't Use the Hidden Dragon". This is the most crazy and wicked song I have ever heard from him. If you have watched the movie it was written for ("Heroes in Love") and seen the music video of this, you too, will understand the power this song has. "Today's your birthday" plays with interesting types of instruments, but it covers up Nic's voice, just like in Track#4 (also composed by Nic). "Jade Butterfly" is truly, his best song. Although it's a pop ballad, I don't even think it mentions the word 'love' in it. Beautiful orchestra. Track 7 and 9 are really awesome songs, but they don't stand out as much. Can usually get mixed up in which one you're listening to. Track 8, "Dark Carnival" is wickedly dark. Although Nic murmurs a lot in this song, it actually works with the song in the way it's suppose to. Once again, you can't go wrong with orchestras, and having the song based on Schubert. Track 10 is inspirational-sounding, and should deserve some attention, but it's a good song that leads to the last song, which is just piano and his voice of Track 11. Hidden track too! There's no stupid 'different language' versions or remixes or anything for this album. And the cover is totally awesome. It truly gives the album its image, and what can I say, his best album ever. |

Superb
| This Cd is fantastic,I recommend tracks 2,3,5 and 9.There's a real improvment in his singing.Track 9 has very nice lyrics and no.5 will definitely please your ears. |
