Yamashita Tomohisa becomes a professional basketball player in the hit 2009 Fuji TV drama Buzzer Beat! A heartwarming urban drama about love, sports, and dreams, Buzzer Beat follows a young basketball player's pursuit of love and success on and off the court. Yamashita Tomohisa forms a romantic quadrangle with starlets Kitagawa Keiko (Mop Girl) and Aibu Saki (Zettai Kareshi) and Ito Hideaki (Umizaru), who plays the team coach. Buzzer Beat co-stars rising stars Mizobata Junpei (Akai Ito, Boss) and Kaneko Nobuaki (Crows Zero II) as Yamashita's teammates, as well as Kanjiya Shihori, Maya Miki, and comedian duo Hannya's Kanada Satoshi and Kawashima Akiyoshi in their drama debuts. Buzzer Beat received the full support of Japan's professional basketball league for its filming, and real-life players made special appearances in the drama.
Basketball player Kamiya Naoki (Yamashita Tomohisa) is an all-around good guy who tends to come up short when things matter the most. Though he has great potential on the court, he lacks the confidence to move to the top tier and his wishy-washy nature bores his perfect, perky cheerleader girlfriend Natsuki (Aibu Saki). Natsuki hits tough times when Natsuki cheats on him, but the painful breakup forces him to confront his own flaws and his burgeoning relationship with aspiring violinist Riko (Kitagawa Keiko), his coach's (Ito Hideaki) girlfriend.
This edition comes with making of and spin-off drama Shower Beat.

上矢直輝（山下智久）は、ＰＢＡ＝プロバスケットボールアソシエーション傘下のプロチーム「ＪＣアークス」の選手。中学、高校、大学と華々しい活躍を続けてきた直輝は、２年前にアークスに入団した。しかし、プロ入り後は、他のプレーヤーとの体格差などに加え、いざというときにプレッシャーに弱いタイプであることも相まって、思うように実力を発揮できずに苦しんでいた。直輝の実力を評価しているヘッドコーチの川崎智哉（伊藤英明）は、そんな彼の姿を歯がゆい思いで見つめていた。音大出身の白河莉子（北川景子）は、書店でアルバイトをしながらプロのバイオリニストを目指していた。だが、とあるオーケストラのオーディションでは、フルート奏者で親友でもある海老名麻衣（貫地谷しほり）は合格したものの、莉子は、演奏中に弦が切れるというアクシデントもあって落ちてしまう。アークスは、プレーオフ進出がかかった大一番に勝利する。

excelent drama

I have just finshined this drama an hour ago. It is excelent. I love the storyline and this is my first time that I watch Yamashita Tomohisa, he is a good actor and handsome the actress also beautiful MUST WATCH! |
