I Love JC =)
|
i really have to agree with you Liz Tran! everything you said is so true...looks like we're both jacky-addicts..hahahaa since many ppl have already pointed out the key aspects of the cd, i'll use this post to say something about his world tour concert he is currently holding..i saw his concert as well..at his second stop in toronto on march 22..it was awesome!! he told us that he wasn't really satisfied with the vegas concert and he wants to apologize to those who attended =( but you know, being a true jc fan, we're delighted to watch him perform just about anything...after a long 5 years no see!!! besides according to his stardards, a not so good performance is already more that satisfactory compared to many singers today! i sincerely urge everyone of you jc fans to go watch his concert if possible..you'll surely regret it if you miss this one! love jacky always =) |

Cheung Hok Yau Forever!
Cheung Hok Yau Forever!
| I saw him at the 2007 Vegas concert, I forgot how much I loved him! He is such a great singer and his voice is so powerful, needless to say I enjoyed the CD. I love track 2, it may be because of the visuals at the concert. It is fabulous that Jacky is always changing and sometimes to some of us it takes some getting use to (such as rap songs) but I hope that he continues to come out with new cd's and concerts so that we can all benefit from his talent! He is so great! BEST singer EVER! |

A near perfect effort
A near perfect effort
| I viewed the "Long Time No See" MV on the net and loved the song. As for other songs, they're not too bad. It'll take me longer to accept his rap songs. I like traditional love ballads he used to sing that are karaoke friendly to us, the karaoke singers. R & B, rock, pop/rock, easy listening and some hip-hop are okay for me. P.S.: I hope he'll sing "Together Now", the English song he sung as an opening (the first) song at the opening ceremony of the Doha 2006 Asian Games in Qatar (Middle East) at his concert in Sydney, plus many other songs. He has at least few hundred songs that are really worth listening to, in which he can choose from to make into his list of 30 odd songs to be sung at the concert! Some songs from "Snow Wolf Lake" is a must. Sorry, hogging so much space, this shall be my last post for this product. Please take care, guys and gals. Peace. |

It's a 8/10 from me
It's a 8/10 from me
| I listened to the whole album. As usual, Jacky's singing voice never fails on me, but a few songs will take me longer to accept. Personally for me, this album is somehow less satisfying than his previous Mandarin albums. Without his steady hand Michael Au (except for track 10), Jacky has changed a fair bit in musical direction. Jacky has quite a few titles under his name for this album: executive producer, managing director with Sunny Chang, producer director and producer. It's a pity that Michael and Jacky's partnership has ended. I like the new take on Teresa Teng's song using a new compostion and the same lyrics (track 10). Lovely photos. Anyway, that's my bit, now it's your turn to be the judge. P.S. I hope he brings a special guest with him to all his worldwide tour and most importantly sing some songs from "Snow Wolf Lake". |

Always By Your Side, Jacky
Always By Your Side, Jacky
| Jacky: G'day! We, throughout the world, are anticipating your "The Year of Jacky Cheung World Tour 07" (in China, it's the "Jacky Cheung Long Time No See 07"). We hope you may sing at least two songs from this album (I believe this album may contain quite a few songs you've had written, if not all). Maybe sing some songs you rarely sing onstage like the ones from 1987 and 1988. Also to sing songs from "Snow Wolf Lake". Plus your own songwritten songs like "So Close (Yet So Far)", songs from the "Life is like a dream" album. Other than love ballads, in my opinion, you may try singing songs like "True Friends" (track 7)from your "To Forget You Is Impossible" (1996) album, self inspirational songs like "Duk Chum Jui" the last track from his 1992 "Love Fire Sparks" album. At a time, when many people ponder about the future from time to time, these types of songs bring personal and may be spiritual comfort to them. "Li Xianglan", "Moonlight Romance", Loving You More Each Day", "Telling You", is a must. Jacky, whether it's physically or spiritually, we'll always be by your side. Take care. Peace, bro'. P.S.: I hope to hear the song "Fortunate" the last track from "The Best in the World" (2001) album in this concert. Ta. See ya in Sydney, mate! |
