sugizo's ace Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
i love sugizo he plays guitar like magic his style blows me away. this album is absolutely fantastic although i do realy want truth i think it has some more superior tracks to what this album has. but this is a grate album and i listen to it allot and its one of my favorites. a grate opening track Rise, No more machine guns is brilliant, then Initiation one of my favorites, Perfume and Remind are brilliant. and the tracks i haven't mentioned still blow me away. if you love grate guitar playing fantastic music composing with no boundary's and love j rock. then open your ears and this guy will take you on a music roller coaster.

SUGIZO is a Music Genius!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
he can play from an upbeat rock like "No More Machineguns, Play The Guitar" to the realxing track like "SWEET"............

and when you like his rock side you would like to try LUNA SEA's earlier stuff.............

Interesting... Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
The overall album is pretty "experiemental"
Sugizo's personal projects have always been like this.
Some people might not like it but it is actually pretty interesting to listen to.
The most beautiful song might be SWEET, it sounds really soft.
If you already like sUGIZO's style, GET IT quick!
If not ... you might wanna hear a couple of his solo songs before buying this album.

So cool~! So Sugizo! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Totally awesome~!! It's been awhile since Sugizo has had an album out, and this album is totally worth the wait! There are only 3 songs that are from his previous singles ("NO MORE MACHINE GUNS PLAY THE GUITAR", "PERFUME", and "Dear LIFE"), and the rest are all brand new. And to add this this, inside the CD case there's a password to access special areas on his webpage (until March 2004), including listening to songs that didn't make it onto the album, instruments used in the songs, and a personal message from Sugizo himself! ^_^ The little booklet also includes Japanese lyrics AND English lyrics (very very thoughtful!)
"RISE" is a really good intro song, with a super smooth guitar solo to start the album off! Sugizo again uses a weird microphone to mask his voice (I guess it adds to the mysterious feeling?).
"INITIATION", a mellow-sounding song, slows things pace down of the album after the fast-moving "NO MORE MACHINE GUNS PLAY THE GUITAR". Lori Fine does an awesome job as the female voice in this song, and Sugizo sounds really good together with her!
"SWEET" is one of the best songs from this album. It can almost be considered as a pop song. It's very happy, and Sugizo's voice isn't masked by the music. A totally addicting song to listen to!
Track 6 is rough and edgy, with Sugizo basically giving his opinion on the current world. "Seek, and ye shall find" is a very short song (not really a song either), with 4 people murmuring 4 different languages (Japanese, Hebrew, Arabic, and English). It's also leads into the next song, "VOICE".
"VOICE" is a fast-paced Sugizo-style song, using synthesizers to give the song its funkiness. ^_^ Track 8 is an instrumental and it gives a mysterious and dark feeling. The song ends with unique pan-banging (I don't know what he used) but it sounds really really cool.
"PERFUME" is a jazzy and a rock song, where "Dear LIFE" is a sad mellow song, with very sad yet inspiring lyrics. "Bloom, Dear Life, there is a way to carry on..."
"REMIND" picks up the pace from "Dear LIFE" with its catchy tune and rockiness. "PLUTO", another instrumental, is a great song to end the album. It starts off with wind-like sounds along with a guitar. Giving the song a chilling mood, murmurs are added to give the song its ambiance.
Overall, this album is a blast to listen to! The songs are very unique, mellow, rock, experimental, but that's what Sugizo does! It's totally worth the money, and the special features on the website is definitely a bonus!
