I agree with Jae: this is a wonderful single.

First of all this is NOT a cover! The original composer sold the song to both, Kelly Clarkson and Kuu. So it is officially Kuu's song. But to be honest I was also a bit worried when I heard about that the first time, cause Kelly was the first with her version. But seriously the song Kuu made out of it is amazing! There's so much passion and strength in her voice and I absolutely love the lyrics she wrote!
The PV is one of my favourites from her, even if the dance break is a bit long. There is a strong message delivered and I understand why Kuu wanted to make it her next single.

Good☆day is a sweet and happy song, perfect for summer and happy days.
I personally like it better than other similar songs from Kuu.

Overall I'd say: Get that single, cause it's just a limited release and surely soon out of print!

When I first heard that the writer sold the song to both Koda Kumi and Kelly Clarkson, I was terrified, because I'm not fond of most Western music.

HOWEVER. Koda Kumi owned this song! It's so much more aggressive and she sings with so much passion it's insane! This is one of those songs you have to listen to a few times to get a feel for, though. I had to listen to it about 3 or 4 times and now I'm an addict. X3

Then the B-side Good☆day is just a sweet, fun and upbeat song. I like this song just as much as the A-side and I keep wishing both songs had a PV.

Speaking of PVs! 'Can We Go Back' has the COOLEST PV Koda Kumi's done since 'LAST ANGEL'. It has a Joan of Arc theme and it's so wicked! Even the dance interlude's fun! I know that all Kuu-fans are going to be saying this: "You're not a true Koda Kumi fan unless you know that dance!"

Can We Go Back is a aggressive rock song, that give to you an endless energy, in the other side there's the super catchy Good day, i love this song from the preview!

No need to aplologize, Princess...in fact there are people who agree strongly with you...and moreover, first impressions are usually correct. I, too, have ended up disagreeing with my own reviews, but...in this case, as said, I think you`re spot-on. What the heck is going on with Koda these days? Is she ashamed to be Japanese? I mean, she keeps doing these Western-styled albums (that are not even any good - I mean, Trick was made out to sound like what everyone else was doing at the time and therefore lost all originality) and covers of other people`s songs. I honestly haven`t enjoyed anything by Koda Kumi since Kingdom, and while I was thinking about getting the new compilation, I`m thinking, is it really worth it. I don`t want to listen to someone whose aim seems to be to sound and look like everybody else. Hint, hint, Koda: we buy Kelly Clarkson too! Please bear with me, I do not intend to be mean, but I just don`t think this is good enough. Plus it`s an awful cover photo! Yes, it`s something you only see for a few moments before you move on to the song, but these releases with these covers are going to circulate for years and any real artist knows that you have to have good covers in order to some day be able to sum up your career and say, yes, it was good. Koda, this is not good. Try and do better next time!

Firstly, I'd like to deeply apologize for my last review below and ask that you disregard it. I had a bad first reaction to the song, and would now like to state my real feelings about this single.
OK, it's true, the song Can We Go Back is a cover of the Kelly Clarkson song with the same name. However, it doesn't sound half bad. I actually do honestly sorta like it. I'll give her shot at it a 8.5/10. She did quite a decent job. As for Good Day, it's a cutesy sorta song, but not overly cutesy, but still fun to listen to, and I enjoy it very much. I have not yet seen the PV or a preview of it, so I can't rate it yet myself. The covers remind me of a mix between Ayu's talkin' 2 myself and (don't) leave me alone PVs, and I honestly don't really like them all that much, but good or bad covers shouldn't stop you from purchasing a good CD. You might miss out on some fabulous music that way. The covers are only something you'll really look at when opening the case to take out the CD before putting it in your player. I think this is not her absolute best effort, but it's still pretty good and it is reccomended. Also, since this single says it's a Limited Edition, we'll probably be getting an album announced shortly after this, so keep your eyes peeled for that. So pretty good single, but not her best. Still, give it a shot, and it is a good collectable too.

A solid effort. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Not a bad single.
Can we go back looks to be at least catchy, but will certainly grow on us all.
Good Day is a little but on the cutsie side, but it serves to cool us off from the lead song.
The PV is rumored to have a Joan of Arc feel, so I am looking forward to it.
A great single to own if you are a true Kumi fan.

I've always been a HUGE Kumi Koda fan. I own absolutely every album, remix album, best album, single and DVD she's ever released, but after I heard the preview for this I immediately cancelled my order for it. This song is nothing more than a direct cover copy of Kelly Clarkson's Can We Go Back. I like Kelly Clarkson, but I've also always loved Kumi for being original and unique, but this stunt simply upset me to no end. Go write your own new songs Kumi like you always did! I have yet to hear the second song, "Good Day" so I won't give this single a perfect zero. I just pray it's a lot more original than the A-Side is. I really reccomend you just forget this single. I'd reccomend it if it at least had a remix track included, but it doesn't. I'm really dissapointed in you Kumi! I know you can do SO much better, so please do!
