Hirai Ken makes a few changes for his 30th single Candy. As opposed to his previous release, the hit cover album Ken's Bar 2, the four-track Candy is an original work. Also, the single represents a departure from Ken's usual R&B sound, with the titular track Candy being an uptempo dance number. The second track, Furusa Sai-da takes its title from an Arabic phrase meaning "nice to meet you", and even features Arabic influences in its arrangement.
