funny !!!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
honestly, the reason i purchased this movie is just because of SO JI SUB!!! but it turned out that the story itself is very entertaining , the rich guy is so silly by doing all sort of those anti burglar stuff so the master thief So Ji Sup couldn't get in the house, too bad, the master thief was still able to break in the house . So Ji Sub had a shoulder accident filming this movie. So Ji Sup looks so gorgeous on his Matrix type outfit plus the butterfly strokes, made me faint...... buy this one people!!!

Can Sang Tae become king of his castle? Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
In "Steal It If You Can", super-wealthy computer game designer Choi Kang Jo (So Ji Sub) in his spare time gets his kicks by breaking into people's homes and stealing trivial items and small amounts of cash. The more sophisticated a home's anti-burglary systems, the bigger the challenge and thrill for Kang Jo.

Nebbishy administrator Ko Sang Tae (Park Sang Myun) seems to have won the 'lottery of life'. Although his is not particularly smart, not particularly ambitious, and not at all good-looking, he somehow has managed to marry a gorgeous bride (Song Seon Mi) who comes from a family of great wealth, has two lovely children, and lives in a spectacular home. However, all is not well for our chubby hero; his wife and kids view him as a hopeless loser.

Now Kang Jo has set his sights on Sang Tae's home, breaking into it at will, each time nabbing the remote control for the family's immense TV, stealing a few bucks from the wife's pocketbook, taking food from the refrigerator, and leaving behind messages to woo Sang Tae's bride. Now it is time for Sang Tae to stand up and defend his home and, in doing so, to regain the respect and love of his family. But bumbling Sang Tae hardly seems up to the task.

The first part of "Steal It If You Can" provides uncomfortable moments as we see Sang Tae being thoroughly dissed by his family. The film picks up comedic energy as he seeks to defend his home, first by obtaining an easily-foiled guard dog, then by training with a crazed martial arts instructor, and finally by installing a host of over-the-top home-made barriers to entry. It leads to an exciting and dramatic showdown between the master thief and the hapless homeowner. Unfortunately, the filmmakers squander the climax by being a bit too clever. Nonetheless, "Steal It If You Can" provides plenty of laughs and an enjoyably different take on its familiar underdog-rising-to-the-occasion premise.

Love this Movie. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is so offbeat, yet charming. Parts really had me really laughing. Story-line is original, and the entire cast is terrific. Of course, So Ji is simply great to watch.

Wow Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Nice comedy.. although come to think of it... So Ji Sup is stealing because of the thrill, not because he doesn't have any money. Park Sang Myun is really a good comedian, did his part well playing a father trying to defend their home from the thief. Nice movie, you will really get entertained.

pretty silly movie Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
The movie was pretty silly/funny. It was quite enjoyable, but it loses it's effect after a few screening after the first, but none the less the story was effective and i enjoyed watching the film.

Highly recommended Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I haven't seen anybody talk about this Korean film, and I didn't hear any advance buzz before the DVD snuck into online stores last year... has it completely slipped under people's radars, or is it just because it's known by so many different names nobody knows what to call it? (My preferred name is "Can't Live Without Robbery", which is what YesAsia has it listed as. Anyway, it's a recent Korean comedy starring the husband from "My Wife Is A Gangster", and it's probably the best Korean comedy I've seen since that particular gem.

A video game designer has everything he could want - wealth, fame, respect and good looks... but he still isn't satisfied, and to add spice to life he makes a hobby of burglary (no, not buggery). He breaks into the house of middle aged loser Park Sang-Myun, and steals... the tv remote and some pig's ear sushi. Well, what else would a man who has everything take? The burglary further precipitates Park's mid-life crisis, and further weakens his image with his contemptuous family. The situation doesn't improve when the same burglar returns a few days later and takes more. Park decides to regain his confidence and the respect of his family by capturing the thief.

The premise is pretty simple but quite ingeniously constructed, making for another great Korean comedy that balances brains, depth, style and comic-book absurdity. It's the kind of film that ought to appeal to everyone, but then I thought that about MWIAG and that has plenty of critics, so maybe not. Personally, I thought it was wonderful - stimulating on many different levels and very inventive. I rank it right up there with MY SASSY GIRL.

Highly recommended!

Entertaining and interesting! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This was the first movie I saw of So Ji Sub. His performance was once again delivered by a creative interpretation of the plot. This was a refreshing change to his roles in all the TV dramas. I would highly recommend this film to those that enjoy a good combination of drama and comedy.

Korean Home Alone? :-) Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
Park Sang Myun is one of my favorite Korean comic actors. But his movies and roles tend to leave a bit to be desired.

This movie has an interesting premise and Mr. Park is great as the bumbling father trying to gain the respect of his family and peers.

The first half of the movie is quite funny but the last half leads into a too unrealistic Home Alone type showdown that left me feeling like the writer ran out of ideas as to how to finish the movie.

All in all...not a bad movie that will at least put a smile on your face.

Very Entertaining! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Park Sang Myun plays a hapless father whose children do not respect. The son is embarassed to ride in his small car, and the daughter is ashamed that he cannot provide a substantial allowance. He feels that he must gain his children's confidence and respect by capturing the burglar. His internal conflict is further inflamed by the repeated disparaging comments by his daughter and son after each visit by the burglar. This battle keeps the audience attention and and eventually gains in intensity. Special effects and shot angles are done well. A very entertaining movie!
